"Therefore sanctify yourselves and be holy, for I am the Lord your God."
Leviticus 20:7
When we accept Jesus as our only and sufficient savior, we are taking a step towards the sanctification of our lives. (John 1:12-13)
To be holy is to give up our lives to live the life of Jesus in us. (Galatians 2:1920; John 12:25)
What the church needs to understand is that being holy is not being our way, but the way God wants.
We often do things as we think they should be done, but God does it differently. He does everything in our lives the way we least expect it so we can't interfere.
"Keep my statutes and do them. I am the Lord that I sanctify you." (Leviticus 20:8)
God will sanctify the church! Just listen to His voice!
