People go to church because they need something. Or you need healing, deliverance, employment... Or are you looking for salvation. That's good in a way, but God has so much more! In fact, God is much more than that!
Healing, deliverance, employment, in short, everything we ask for, is something that God will add to us after we seek what has to be first in our lives, His presence! (Matthew 6:33)
Salvation is a means that God created for us to be saved. The only way to salvation is Jesus! (John 14:6)
What God really wants from the church is a heart turned to Him. (1 Samuel 16:7)
The church needs to be a holy church again, because God is holy, we need to be holy. (Leviticus 11:44)
The word "holy" comes from the Hebrew "to separate". A holy church is a church set apart from the world. Holy is to be unique to God!
God is looking for true worshipers, who are holy, who are set apart from the world! (John 4:23)
