"How many maps are we going to need?" Remus asked, looking at the school building map and campus map.
"I'm sure the mall will have a map in it, like at the ones at home," Roman said, opening their dorm room with one of the keys they were given. "And I don't think the beach, training grounds, or anywhere else will need a map. Except for maybe the dorms."
"Ooh! I call this bed!" Remus ran in, dragging his suitcase with him and tossing it aside before jumping on the bed to the right. The room had enough space for the both of them, two beds, a desk, a closet, and two dressers.
"Guess it's time to start unpacking. Mrs. Johannes said we all start off with 200 power points so maybe tomorrow we can go shopping for decorations."
"Sounds like a plan, I'll unpack tomorrow."
Roman rolled his eyes with a sigh, setting his suitcase on his bed and unpacking. He put his clothes away and pulled out a stuffed animal he had brought from home, a bear dressed in a prince suit.
"I guess we really don't have much," Roman mused, mostly to himself.
"There wasn't much to bring. Clothes, toiletries, backpacks, a couple of items. Guess we really didn't think about decorating this place."
"All the more reason to go shopping tomorrow. We also need some school supplies."
"Yay, school shopping," Remus said, sarcasm dripping in his voice. "I wonder how much we can get with 400 power points."
"Guess we'll see. But I'm not sharing my power points with you, since we both know you're going to get in a lot of trouble."
"It's just my nature! Trouble is my middle name."
"No it's not, your middle name is James."
"Which is such a weird middle name, that's a first name not a middle name!"
"Remus James Berkshire, mom and dad suck at names."
"Hey! My name is just fine! Go to bed before I strangle you to sleep."
"You couldn't if you tried."
"Try me, I dare you."
Roman stuck his tongue out but turned off the lights before laying down for bed.

"Okay, pencils, journals, binders, I think this'll be all that we need for now," Roman said.
"Good! Now we can go to find some decorations!" Remus huffed, looking at the giant mall map to find some store that looked interesting.
"Impatient much?" Roman looked around them to see if anything caught his eye.
"Oh, hey!" a voice called to them.
They turned and saw Patton heading to them, dragging another kid with him. The other kid was tall and wore a blue denim jacket over a NASA shirt.
"Patton, right?" Roman greeted.
"Yup, and you're Roman and Remus?"
"That's right!" Remus confirmed.
Patton pumped his fist, "Yes! I remembered your names! This is my friend, Logan!"
"Greetings, it's nice to meet you," Logan said in a British accent, with a small wave.
"Oh, are you from overseas?" Roman asked. "Or maybe we are, we weren't told where this academy is for safety reasons."
"Well I am from the UK, yes. And I'm guessing you two are from America, judging from your accents."
"Yup, that's the hellhole we're from!" Remus said. "However, we're latino on our mom's side."
"Oh that's so cool!" Patton said. "I have no idea what I am, my parents are both supers so we only hang out in the summers when they're not doing their job."
"Who are they?" Roman asked, excited.
"The superhero couple The Beast and Waterman, and yes my mom does make fun of my dad's name all the time. I take after her."
"That's so cool! Those two are some of the major heroes!" Roman fanboyed.
"Both of our parents are normal, well except my dad owns a company and hardly ever spends time with us," Remus said.
"What about you, Logan? Do your parents have powers?"
"My mother is actually Mrs. Croft, she has telekinesis and I took after her. My father didn't have any powers, so he was a stay at home dad, however he had passed on."
"Oh I'm sorry."
"It's quite alright, that was many years ago and my mom had retired from being a super before that. She was the Blue Spirit."
"Oh! I heard about her! It was a long time ago, didn't she get hurt before she retired?"
"Unfortunately, yes, she lost three of her fingers and sadly struggles with some PTSD. But Dr. Sanders was able to make some prosthetics for her."
"Thomas, Dr. Sanders, is really kind!" Patton added. "He makes all kinds of gadgets and prosthetics for the disabled here to help them out! And other gadgets to help students with their powers if they ask!"
"Oh hey, Dr. Sanders is the guy that brought us here!" Remus noted.
"Oh yeah, he seemed pretty cool," Roman said.
"We hang out with him a lot, especially our friend Virgil. Thomas pretty much adopted him, it's really sweet. He's a lot of fun!"
"Is he a teacher here?"
"Yeah, for the TechEd students, I heard that he's really fun but TechEd isn't my thing. Logan took his class one year!"
"It was interesting, and I'm taking TechEd again this year. Luckily I'm in his class again," Logan commented.
"Dang, now I wish I chose TechEd for one of my electives," Roman cursed.
"Oh it's fine, a lot of students still like to hang out with him anyway! It's not a rare sight to see students flocking towards him like ducks!"
"Don't," Logan warned.
Patton quacked, turning his fingers into feathers and flapping. Both Roman and Remus laughed and Logan sighed.
"I bet you make all kinds of animal puns," Roman giggled.
"You know it," Patton said with a wink.
"Unfortunately," Logan sighed.
"You all love it, don't deny it."
"I know I do," Roman said. "We should get going though, our room doesn't have any decorations so we're shopping for some. Do you have any stores to recommend?"
Stars practically filled Patton's eyes as he gasped, "I have so many! I'll show you them all! Do you want to come, Logan?"
"Sure, why not?" Logan agreed, smiling fondly at him.
"Yes! Okay, let's go!"
