"Homecoming is in two weeks!" Patton said, jumping around. They were getting breakfast at the dorms. "I really can't wait, it's going to be a lot of fun!"

"Hopefully," Janus said with a slight smile.

"What are you and Remus planning?" Logan asked.

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

"I'll find out eventually."

"Maybe," Remus said. "Maybe you'll never find out what we're going to do, even after it's done."

"I can't wait to see you guys dress up," Patton said. "I still need to find my outfit, but I'll figure it out. You guys are coming, right?"

"Of course," Roman told him. "I wouldn't want to miss the first school dance here."

"I... actually might go this year," Virgil hesitantly said.

"Wait really!?" Patton asked with a smile.

"Yeah, I mean I just want to try it out at least once. I shouldn't miss everything."

"Who are you and what have you done with Virgil," Janus asked.

"Haha, very funny. I just thought it would be nice to go this once, see what it's like."

"Is there a reason for the sudden change?" Logan asked.

Virgil shrugged. "It might be fun this time."

"Are you guys asking anyone out?" Roman asked, saving Virgil from the attention.

"Who would we ask out?" Janus asked.

"Someone you might really like?"

Janus shrugged, but he didn't really answer the question.

"What about you, Roman, is there any special guy you want to ask out?" Remus asked.

"Not really, I guess."

"Translation, you're too much of a coward to ask anyone out."

"We should hurry up, we don't want to be late for class," Logan suggested.

"Got it, pocket protector," Virgil said, picking up the remainder of his meal before throwing it out.

"When is homecoming?" Roman asked.

Patton answered him. "It's on a Friday night, it starts at 5!"

"What do you think I should wear?" Roman asked.

"To homecoming?" Virgil asked, not looking at him since he was finishing up Maggie's costume.

"Yeah! What do you think?"

"How fancy do you want to dress? Like, fancy fancy or casual fancy?"

"I'm not sure. Ooh! A dress."

"That sounds nice, I guess if you have enough power points you can do that. I'll even help with any makeup you might want to do."

"You can wear a dress with me!"

Virgil stabbed his finger with the needle and pulled back with a yelp, "Ow!"

"Are you okay?" Roman asked, grabbing Virgil's hand.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Virgil pulled his hand away as a small drop of blood started to form. He put it in his mouth and tried to put pressure on it. "I'm not gonna wear a dress, just so you know. That's too much for me, you're going to be lucky if I wear more than my hoodie."

"Well, to each their own."

"I think I'm finished." Virgil tied off the last stitch and held up the suit. "What do you think?"

"Maggie's going to love it," Roman said, smiling at Virgil. "She's a cute little girl, I like her."

"Well then, you better hope she likes you. She's very picky with who she hangs out with."

Roman laughed at that and the dorm room opened. They turned to see Patton with a huge smile on his face as he ran in.

"Guess what?" he asked, bouncing up and down.

"Someone's happy, what?" Virgil asked.

"Logan said yes! I asked him out to homecoming, as more than a friend, and he said yes!"

Virgil and Roman both stood up from the bed. "Pat, oh my god! That's big news!"

"Yeah, congratulations," Roman added, grabbing Patton by the shoulder.

"I'm so happy! I was so scared, we were just talking, and then I blurted it out! He said he would love to! Your advice worked, Virgil, thank you so much!" Patton pulled Virgil into the hug.

"No problem, I knew you had nothing to worry about."

"Oh, so Virgil's good at giving romantic advice?" Roman asked.

"Definitely not because of experience. I guess I just understand people."

"Well it helped me a lot!" Patton told him. "I wonder if Logan would like to make it official? I probably shouldn't get ahead of myself."

"Do you know what you're going to wear?"

"No... something blue maybe?"

"Well we still have a few hours before curfew, why don't you and Roman look for something."

"Will you come with us?" Roman asked.

"I would, but I'm really busy. I just finished Maggie's costume and I want to work on Roman's, not to mention the homework I've been procrastinating on."

"Aw, alright," Patton pouted. "I guess I'll be back later, try not to overwork yourself!"

"I won't."

"You better not," Roman said, putting a hand on Virgil's shoulder for a moment. "Thanks again for offering to make me a costume, you didn't have to but I'm grateful you did. See you later, Virge."

"Yeah, see ya." Virgil waved as they left.

He sighed heavily when they were gone, and his hand drifted to his shoulder. He was happy Patton and Logan finally got together, and he wondered if he could have a relationship like that with Roman.

He felt like he couldn't deny it anymore. He liked Roman, a lot. After all, he's the reason Virgil decided to go to homecoming.

"Damn it, princey. What are you doing to me?"
