"So what are you making this time?" Patton asked as Virgil picked out a lot of different fabrics.

"Well, I'm making both Maggie and Roman superhero costumes," Virgil explained. "I just hope I have enough to buy the materials."

"Roman too? What brought that up?"

Virgil shrugged. "He asked, and I thought why not? Plus, it gives me plenty of practice. If I weren't planning on being a hero, I would probably go into fashion. I already ordered some fire proof fabric and the store should have it in a few days."

"For Roman?"

"Yeah, just for small parts of his costume. I can't make the whole thing fire proof though, that's too expensive."

"That's so cute! See, I knew you and Roman would be good friends."

Virgil rolled his eyes with a scoff as he picked up some white fabric, it felt strong enough. "Fine, yes you did. But he is still very annoying."

"Uh huh, then why are you making him a costume? You like him more than you admit."

Virgil tried to ignore the butterflies in his stomach again. "I do not!"

"Oh, oh you like him like that don't you?" Patton smiled wide.

"You're insane, he's a good friend and I enjoy his company."

"Sounds like someone is in denial!"

"Why does everyone think I like him?"

"Cause you suck at hiding it, but don't worry Roman is oblivious to it. At least it seems like he is."

"I don't like him like that. Besides, you are the one that still can't ask Logan out."

"At least I admit that I like him. Come on, Virge, you can't hide your feelings from me."

"Keep this up and Logan will get an anonymous letter that a certain someone likes him."

"You wouldn't dare."

Virgil smiled innocently. "Wouldn't I?"

"Fine, I'll drop it. For now."

"Thank you."

"I've been thinking that we should all go to the movies together. There's a new Pixar movie coming out next week, I think maybe Friday after class."

"Sure, if we're not all sore from whatever torture Remy will put us through."

"It's not always bad, sometimes the lessons are easy."

"Except for when we sparred in the marshes together. You and Logan are the only people who can beat me in a fight. I had swamp water in my ears for the rest of the day!"

"I didn't hurt you, right?"

"I told you that you didn't, I just got a face full of mud when you knocked me over."

"Good thing we have uniforms, it would have taken forever to wash that out."

"Well I wear all black so it would have been fine. Though, it did take forever to get the mud out of my prosthetics."

"I helped!"

"I didn't say you didn't, but I still found dirt in them later."

"Yeah, the marshes aren't my favorite place to fight. Especially since Remus froze Roman in place while they fought, making the water cold."

Virgil laughed, "Yeah, I feel bad for Roman. Good thing he has fire powers. Do we have any fabric dyes? I can't remember if I ran out or not."

"I don't know dude, I take gourmet foods, I deal with food and not sewing."
