The crowd was quieter as they waited for the judges results. Not quiet, just quieter. At least Hannah could hear what her friends had to say now.

"Sehun and Lay! They-"
"That was pretty fu-"
"I can't believe that-"

Or not.

Tao leaned over to Hannah. He smirked. "How you feeling, Smith? Have faith?"

Hannah laughed weakly and shrugged. "I know they'll do well, I just don't know how well..."

"We just have to believe in them," Kris said firmly.

Arlene frowned. "She does! We do!"

"Hey," Luhan murmured to her. "Are you nervous about the results because they can't afford to lose? We still need the prize money, right?"

That was another thing. Hannah realized that they still haven't told the others. Should they? She asked Luhan, and he shook his head.

"Later, at the two hour break, where they can react however they want," he said softly.

A loud mechanical screech pierced Hannah's eardrums, making her jolt. It was the same screech Sehun had accidentally made that night he first brought her to the convention center.

Unsurprisingly, Victor ran on stage again, with the same eerie smile plastered on his probably plastic face.

"And we have the results!" He announced, waving a purple envelope in his hand.

Hannah held her breath as he tore it open.

"The first group through...," Victor said in a low voice. This time, the audience was completely silent. "... is Duke and Dutchess!"

An explosion of screams erupted from the fans.

"The second! Group... through...," Victor had some difficulties calming the crowd, "... is Sehun and Lay, the underdogs!"

Hannah sprung from her seat and cheered loudly. Thankfully for her, everyone else in the center did the same.

She sunk back down in her seat and didn't pay much attention to the rest of the results.

Closing her eyes, she scolded herself for not having complete faith in them. "They can do this, Hannah," she reminded herself.

They can.

The results were finally revealed.

"Alright, folks! The time has come! The middle part of the competition will begin after a quick word from our sponsors!" Victor sang and left the stage.

Hannah was chatting quietly with Luhan when she overheard a two high-pitched voices talking about Sehun and Duke.

"Ohmigosh, I wonder what's going on between those two right now. Like, have they murdered each other yet, orrrr.?" The first girl said.

The second laughed like a dolphin. "Duke will, like, do anything to get back at Sehun. We all totes, like, know that."

Hannah frowned slightly. She wondered, what was the history between those two?

Like a silent prayer, her questions were answered.

"Like, I still can't believe a rookie like Sehun beat the pro and returning champ Duke at that dance-off two years ago!"

Hannah raised an eyebrow. That's all?

"Yeah, and then dissed him on television!"

The two Smiths looked at each other.

"We turn around for two years," Luhan joked lightly. Hannah just rolled her eyes at him, and at Sehun.

"You ready, LA?" Someone from backstage shouted into the microphone.

The crowd shouted for the show to start.

"I said, is you ready for this, Los Angel-es!" The same voice taunted, stressing the word out.

It sounded like the every one of the audience members were about to tear their vocal cords.

Even Hannah shouted yes.

So the underdogs took the stage.
