Hannah stepped out of Sehun's car and slammed the door shut. She waited for Sehun, then they walked to the doors of the dance studio together.
Sehun gave Hannah a brief tour. It was a large and spacious studio, with photographs framed and hung on the walls.
The photos were in black and white, making them contrast perfectly with the light gray walls.
Sehun showed Hannah a photo of him and another boy holding a trophy above they're heads.
"That's Lay," he said. "We're dance partners. We were really young when this was taken..."
"At a dance competition? Did you guys win?" Hannah asked politely.
"Yeah," Sehun nodded his head. "We won."
Sehun seemed lost in thought, the memories of the past prancing before his eyes. Hannah nudged his shoulder.
"Hey, come on. I wanna see you dance."
Sehun lead Hannah to a room. The walls were light purple, and there was a large mirror that took up an entire wall.
"You can sit there," Sehun gestured to a black beanbag in the corner of the room.
Hannah sunk down into the beanbag and watched Sehun as he stretched.
Hannah spotted a flyer taped to the wall the beanbag was against. It read:
"'24th Annual Partner Dance Off! Los Angeles, California.
Competitors:
• May and Derik from Time Dance
• Oh Sehun and Lay from SM Studio
• Anna-lyn and Ethan from Rhythm Dance Studio
• Leslie and Fredrick from Soul...'"
The list went on. There were at least 100 pairs participating globally. That wasn't a lot...Sehun must be really good then.
Suddenly, fast beat music started playing from overhead speakers.
Hannah turned and saw Sehun dancing to the rhythm.
He was...
Amazing.
His body flowed so well it the music. Whether it was moving his arms, or moving his feet, he was never out of beat. All the moves looked so complicated, too. What made Hannah smile the most, was that Sehun seemed to be so into his dancing. So...passionate.
When the track ended, Hannah began to clap and cheer.
Sehun wiped his sweat and rolled his eyes.
"Oh, stop," he laughed.
"That was fantabulous!" Hannah exclaimed, eyes wide.
Sehun laughed again, and then he reached out to Hannah.
"Come here," Sehun smiled.
Hannah walked over to him. Sehun grabbed her arm and spun her around so she was facing the mirrors.
Sehun adjusted her position, shifting her feet and her arms. Sehun replicated her stance.
"Okay, now, I want you to do this," Sehun said.
He jumped up, to the right, making the back leg cross over the front. As he jumped, his right arm bent at its elbow and clapped the left hand. He finished in a speed skater position. Sehun nodded to Hannah after he tightened himself.
"I can't do that!" Hannah laughed.
"It's not that hard," Sehun tried to persuade her.
Hannah rolled her eyes. She bent down, trying to copy Sehun. Then, she jumped up, just as he did, but her feet got tangled up.
