Sehun sped to the hospital as Hannah clutched onto the top handle for dear life. As much as she wanted to, Hannah didn't tell Sehun to slow down.

When they arrived at the hospital, Hannah didn't even wait for Sehun to properly park the car; she jumped out just as Sehun had hit the brakes.

"Hey!" Sehun shouted after her as she ran to the hospital doors. Hannah ignored him and the passing cars.

Hannah burst through the doors and sprinted to the front desk.

"My mother!" She gasped to the nurse, "She's in the ER right now. How is she?"

The nurse smiled sadly at Hannah. "I'm sorry, honey, but we don't know. The only news we've been able to receive up at front was that she was in very critical condition."

Hannah struggled to swallow the news. "I need to see her."

"I'm sorry, but you can't. I think your father and your aunt are over there, though," the nurse apologized again.

Hannah turned in the direction she was pointing and spotted her father hugging her sobbing aunt. Without hesitation, she jogged over.

"Hannah!" He father said, letting go of her aunt to hug her.

"Dad!" Hannah whispered into her father's chest.

Hannah's father started filling Hannah in on all the details. Hannah's mother was talking to a doctor when she started hacking up blood. The doctors took her to the ER and discovered that her illness had spread to her lungs, causing difficulties in breathing, that meant that she had troubles getting oxygen.

After Hannah's father had finished speaking, Hannah fell to her knees, but was caught by someone behind her.

"It's alright, Hannah, I've got you," Sehun said softly, helping her back up.

Hannah nodded and let herself be helped.

Hannah's father looked at Sehun and then looked at Hannah.

"Hello, young man, I'm Mr. Smith, Hannah's father," he said to Sehun and extended his hand out.

Sehun bowed and shook his hand. "Hello, sir, I am Oh Sehun, one of Hannah's friends."

Mr. Smith smiled weakly at Sehun. He placed a strong hand on his shoulder, making Sehun look at him in surprise.

"Thank you for being with her, son," Mr. Smith said, "It means a lot to us."

Sehun bowed his head. "It's not a problem, sir."

Mr. Smith hesitated and then asked Sehun, "Would you mind staying with Hannah? At least until her aunt gets home?"

Sehun shook his head. Mr. Smith breathed a sigh of relief. He leaned in close to Sehun's ear, "Hannah worries easily and that makes her become distracted. This is all really hard on her, so thank you for being there for her, Sehun."

Mr. Smith glanced at Hannah, who was consoling her aunt and herself. He looked back to Sehun.

"Will you take her home?" Mr. Smith asked him.

"Of course," Sehun replied. He reached out for Hannah's hand and said, "Come on, Hannah, let's go home."

Hannah said her goodbyes and took Sehun's hand. Sehun grasped her hand tightly and they both walked out.

They were back at Hannah's house. Hannah let them both in and asked Sehun if he was hungry. Sehun smiled at her.

"I'm cooking, so just do your homework or something until I finish," he said, walking into the kitchen.

Hannah blinked at him, but didn't argue. She was in no mood to cook, anyway.

Soon, Hannah was done with all her homework. She decided to check in on Sehun.

Sehun had a ridiculous apron on and was humming to a song while placing the food on two plates.

Hannah laughed out loud, making Sehun turn in her direction.

"That's my mom's apron," Hannah explained, still giggling.

Sehun wagged his eyebrows at her, which caused Hannah to laugh again, "Well, then I guess you can call me 'Mom'."

Hannah rolled her eyes, "I'm good."

Sehun went back to plating the food. He was smiling to himself. His plan was to keep Hannah happy and distract her from her worries.

Hannah helped Sehun bring the food to the table. They both sat down and began to eat.

Hannah poked the chicken leg with her fork. "Seems kind of stiff," she observed.

Sehun waved his hand. "It's good. Eat it before I do," he joked.

Hannah took a big bite and nearly gasped. The chicken was amazing.

"Does the cooking skill run in the family?" Hannah joked back, inhaling her food.

They had a mostly quiet dinner, but that was fine with them. Hannah just enjoyed Sehun's company and Sehun enjoyed the fact that Hannah liked his cooking.

After dinner, Sehun suggested that they work on their project. Hannah agreed and led him to the living room.

Hannah worked on the floor while Sehun typed on the laptop on the couch.

"I have an idea," Sehun suddenly declared.

Hannah rubbed her tired eyes and yawned. "Shoot."

"Since we're doing our project about South Korea, why don't we talk in Korean?" Sehun proposed.

"I don't know how to speak Korean," Hannah countered.

"I'll teach you the basics."

"Our audience won't know what we're saying."

"We can have translations somewhere."

"Do you really want to do this?"

"Yes, yes I do."

"Okay, then fine."

"Well, then Korean 101 lesson 1 starts right now."

Sehun spent hours teaching Hannah basic Korean. Hannah couldn't get the tones right and Sehun kept teasing her about it, but they had a really good time.

"Good night," Sehun said in English.

Hannah translated it to Korean. Sehun laughed, "No, no. I mean, you're tired, so we can stop. You can sleep."

Sehun stood up to leave, but Hannah stopped him.

"I don't want you to leave," Hannah admitted, shamelessly.

Sehun tried to kill the smile that was dancing on his lips. "I don't want me to leave, either, but where will I sleep?"

Hannah gestured to the couch. Sehun raised an eyebrow.

"I'll sleep next to you, if you want," Hannah sighed.

"Deal," Sehun agreed.

"On the floor," Hannah added.

Sehun laughed. "Your loss."

He lay down on the couch, facing the room. Hannah turned the lights off and lay down next to the couch. She was asleep in no time.

Sehun watched Hannah for a while until his drowsiness pulled him under.
