"Come on, you need to drink something."
"I don't wanna."
"Hannah, you need it! You too, Arlene."
"Kris, give it a rest, they don't-"
"TAO."
Kris was constantly fathering them. He felt like someone had to take the role of watching over the "children".
He was honestly just trying to help.
Arlene stared at him with red and puffy eyes. He raised his eyebrows, and Arlene nodded.
Kris lifted the water bottle to Arlene's lips and held it as she drank.
Hannah managed to smile. She was glad that Arlene had someone who cared so much for her...she deserved it.
Tao caught Hannah staring. He nudged her elbow and whispered not very quietly, "They're disgusting, I know."
He shuddered and grimaced, earning foul looks from Arlene and Kris and a laugh from Hannah.
Hannah's laugh was hoarse and short. It died as soon as it began.
Tao grinned and spread his hands. "Hey, I got you to laugh."
Eventually, Kris got Hannah to drink some water and take a bite of a sandwich from the hospital's cafeteria.
It was 10:04 PM. Luhan still hasn't gotten back from wherever he was taken to. The rest of the group still hasn't received any information involving Mrs. Smith. Hannah was still broken.
The hospital's doors slid open for the, what, thousand time Hannah heard it. She didn't even bother to look anymore. She probably should have, though.
Kris stood up abruptly, waking a sleeping Arlene. Tao scowled in that direction, and wrapped a protective arm around Hannah's shoulders.
Hannah glanced up and saw him walking towards them, halting in his steps when he caught her looking.
They stared each other down, not saying a word.
"Sehun," Hannah said, barely audible.
Sehun stared at her, and shook his head slightly. His eyes were unreadable.
Hannah was afraid that he had just come here to say that it was the end. But how could something end if it hadn't even started?
Her heart had just begun to break all over again when the words tumbled out of his mouth:
"I'm sorry."

Hannah's eyes rapidly filled with tears, then slide down her cheeks. She stood up from her seat.
They didn't move. Nobody did. Hannah broke out into a run.
Sehun was waiting for her, ready to catch her if she fell. She wasn't in the best shape at the moment. But, impatiently, he grabbed her and roughly pulled her into his arms, into an embrace Hannah so badly needed.
"I'm sorry," Sehun repeated again, dumbly. He cursed under his breath for being so unprepared. He knew that he should be saying more, instead of just stupidly apologizing over and over.
Hannah didn't care.
"It's okay. I just want you with me, alright?" Hannah's voice cracked. "There, I said it. I want you, Oh Sehun, to be with me."
Sehun gripped her tighter. He nodded and couldn't seem stop. He also wanted nothing more than to just be by Hannah's side. He wanted to be there for her when she needed him, like now.
Hannah looked up at him, hiccuping and tears streaming down her face. "Will you stay?"
"Only forever," Sehun whispered, and buried his face into her neck.
