Chapter 30

"This is mad," Luhan muttered. "He's not going to help us."

Hannah sighed and wrapped her arms around her body. "He has to."

They were at this bubble tea place called "Super Cue". Aaron had told Hannah that he would meet up with her there.

Luhan took a sip of his chocolate bubble tea. "Who's this guy again?"

"He's a close family friend," Hannah answered half-heartedly.

"No, Zach. Who is he?"
"He goes to our school."

There was a pause before Luhan said, "Wait, so he's the guy Sehun always hung out with, right?"

This caught Hannah's attention. "Really? They always hung out together?" She knew that they were friends...

"They were pretty much inseparable."

Hannah had a bad feeling in her gut. She was afraid to ask, but... "Was I they reason Sehun stopped hanging out with Zach?"

Luhan smiled at Hannah. "I'm guessing. Zach and his little group of dicks are pissed at you for that, after all."

"What's his problem? Why can't Zach just leave Sehun alone? He's such a bad influence for him!"
"I know...Zach can't let go of a grudge."
"Grudge?"
"Ah, his ego was a little hurt when Sehun became more popular and feared than him."
"Jesus Christ."

Someone tapped on Hannah's shoulder.

She turned and smiled when she saw that it was Aaron.

"Hi," she gestured for him to sit. "I got you taro bubble tea."

Aaron sighed after Hannah explained the situation with SM studio.

"Hannah...what you're asking for is a lot," Aaron said, his eyebrows furrowed. "I'm not sure if I can do that."

"Please," Hannah practically begged. "This is really important to Sehun."

Luhan softly nudged her side, shooting her a glance that said to stop.

Leaning forward and clasping his hands together, Aaron looked Hannah into the eyes.

"It's important to him...why is it important to you?" He asked her.

"Because it's important to him," She replied without hesitation.

Aaron's frown slowly began to turn into a smile. Hannah's face brightened up as well.

"So you're going to buy the studio back, right?" She asked excitedly.

Luhan interrupted before Aaron could respond. "Ham, he's a busy man with the...um...black market stuff and everything. Plus, I don't think he can just give us that amount of money."

"Well, I could always find ways. It's fairly easy with my standing," Aaron reluctantly stated. "But I won't give you any profit from the markets. I could give you money from my company."

"Is it a legal company?" Luhan asked, making Aaron laugh.

"Yes, it is."

Hannah's smile grew even bigger. "So you'll do it? Pretty please?"

His smile became rueful. "Hannah," Aaron said. "If only I could."

And with those four simple words, Hannah's heart sank.
