Hannah woke with a start. She glanced at her alarm clock. It read 7:22 AM.

"Crap," she muttered, flying out of bed.

She threw her bedroom door open and ran down the hallway and dove into the bathroom. After taking a 10 second shower, she ran back into her room and threw whatever clothes she touched first on.

Taking the stairs two at a time, she jumped from foot to foot.

Her aunt was already awake. They exchanged a "Good Morning" and rushed about. Looks like they both woke up late.

Hannah stuffed a blueberry muffin in her mouth and grabbed her bag. She began to run to the bathroom to apply her daily makeup, but halted.

"'I guess I like you better without makeup.'," Sehun's voice rang in her head.

She grinned slightly then shoved her feet inside her black Converse and ran out the door.

She looked around, confused. Usually, she and Arlene carpooled, but today Arlene was nowhere to be found. Instead, a familiar black car occupied her place. Sehun's car.

Hannah's heart jumped, but she didn't hesitate to walk toward Sehun, who was leaning against the passenger door.

"Hey," Sehun said. He looked nice today; black jeans and a white v-neck.

"Hey," Hannah replied, glancing down at her own clothes. Hannah's cheeks reddened. She was wearing a light pink, button up, cotton flannel with a white skater skirt.

Sehun smirked. "Someone looks nice."

"I threw on the first things I saw," Hannah argued, "I woke, like, 15 minutes ago."

"I was referring to myself, but sure," Sehun raised an eyebrow.

Hannah lightly punched his arm. "Are you driving me to school?" She huffed, crossing her arms.

"Yes, ma'am," Sehun teased, gently pulling at Hannah's ponytail.

Hannah swatted his hand away and pushed Sehun aside by bumping him with her hip. Sehun laughed and walked to the driver's seat.

This time, the car ride was full of jokes and laughs.

They got to school 10 minutes early. Sehun and Hannah got out of the car; Sehun's door slammed harder than Hannah's.

"Don't go all Hulk on your door, Spider-Man," Hannah teased Sehun.

Sehun faked a scowl.

They walked side by side up the school's front steps, talking cheerfully. Sehun helped Hannah with the door.

"Okay, well I told Arlene that I would meet her in wing 4," Hannah said, "Wanna catch up in the library at lunch?"

Sehun scoffed, "What are you doing in the library, you dork?"

Hannah's smile faded a little. Sehun's bad boy demeanor was showing again, but...Hannah didn't quite mind it so much, anymore. It still bugged her, though.

"How about you meet me at the cafeteria and we'll get something it eat?" Sehun suggested, avoiding Hannah's gaze.

Hannah shrugged. "Sure." Then she walked away.

Students looked at Hannah with mixed expressions as she made her way to wing 4. Some seemed disapproving, others seemed critical, there were even some jealous looks. Most, though, wore amused faces.

Hannah spotted Arlene searching through her locker. She tapped Arlene's elbow with her own making Arlene drop a book back into her locker.

Arlene whirled, about to say something sharp tongued, when she saw Hannah. Arlene smiled.

"Hannah!" She giggled, "I thought you were Kris!"

Hannah made kissing noises, which made Arlene's cheeks pink.

"Shut up!" She cried.

"So I'm right!" Hannah laughed.

Arlene looked left and right and then leaned in close to Hannah's face. "We only kissed once. Once."

Hannah threw an arm around her best friend's shoulders. "But you two kissed."

Arlene buried her face into Hannah's shoulder. "I think I love him," she whispered, "I've never felt this way about someone."

Hannah froze. All expressions wiped clear off her face. "I know how you feel," she replied softly.

"You do?" Arlene looked up.

Slowly, Hannah nodded, each nod making her chest feel heavy.

Arlene shoved Hannah. "Who?!" She practically shrieked.

Hannah bit her lip and looked down. "I...it's...-"

"Oh my gosh."

"What?"

"Don't tell me."

"I have no idea what you-"

"It's him, isn't it?"

"Him? Who him?"

"Oh. Freaking. Sehun."

Hannah couldn't reply to that, confirming Arlene's suspicions.

"Hannah! But he's a delinquent! Do you remember what he did to you?!" Arlene hissed.

Hannah stepped away from Arlene. "Don't ever call him that. You don't know a thing about him!"

Arlene looked at Hannah with disbelief. "Why are you sticking up for him? He embarrassed you in front of the whole school!"

"People can change," Hannah argued.

Arlene closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Remember what he did. Just...remember."

And Hannah did. 2 years ago, Sehun had tripped Hannah in the hallway, causing Hannah's jeans to rip. Sehun pointed it out to everyone in the crowded hallway; all the students were walking back from an assembly. That was probably the worst week of Hannah's life.

The bell rang. The two girls went their separate ways.

Hannah passed Sehun in the hallway.

"Hey," Sehun smiled.

Hannah looked away. She didn't return his smile; she just ran off.
