It's the most beautiful time of the year•

"Are you guys going to Gem Street tonight? They have the best lights!" Arlene asked excitedly.

The group of six friends were sitting in a small café, eating brunch.

Hannah shook her head, and glanced over to the others.

Sehun and Tao were also shaking their head no, but Luhan and Kris were nodding their heads yes.

Arlene pouted at Hannah, Tao, and Sehun.

"Why aren't you guys going? It'll be so fun; the houses are so well decorated!" She pressed.

Tao shrugged. "I'm busy, but I guess I can stop by. Luhan, pick me up?"

Luhan smiled and nodded.

"What about you?" Arlene asked Sehun.

"I just didn't want to go, but I guess I'll go," Sehun gave in.

He looked at Hannah. "Why aren't you go going?"

"Busy," Hannah answered.

Sehun raised an eyebrow. "Sure you are."

"I am!" She argued.

"You're lying."
"I'm not."
"Okay, we'll have fun without you."

Hannah puffed air into her cheeks. "Fine," she scowled, "I'll come. But I don't have a ride."

"I'll pick you up at 6 tonight, don't worry," Sehun offered, averting his gaze. His tone was somewhat...timid, now. Then, he stood up from the table, waved goodbye, and left.

"What's up with him?" Luhan frowned.

•Lights fill the streets spreading so much cheer•

Hannah had to admit, the Christmas lights adorning the houses, the street lights, and the plants were beautiful.

Fake reindeer lit up the lawns, inflatable Santas greeted passing people left and right, soft blinking lights of every color flashed everywhere, and pleasant Christmas carols floated down the street.

Hannah was walking with Sehun. It was just the two of them. The others had gone their own separate ways.

"I like that house," Sehun broke the aching silence.

He was pointing to a dark house with no decoration except for one large illuminated sign that said "Same." Underneath the word was an arrow that was pointing to the house next to it, which was all decked out in bright lights.

Hannah burst into loud laughter. "That's wonderful," she chuckled.

Sehun nodded. He stared at her for a bit too long, but then abruptly looked away.

I don't wanna miss out on the holiday
But I can't stop staring at your face•

"Is he alright?" Hannah wondered to herself.
