"Happy Halloween!" Natasha said, busting down Olivia's door the next morning. It was about 9:25 in the morning, probably the longest Olivia had ever slept in.
"Oh you're still asleep?" Natasha said. She was surprised to still see Olivia in bed. Normally she was up either watching tv or coloring in a coloring book.
"Not anymore" Olivia groaned, her voice muffled by her pillow. She sat up, her hair in a tangled mess.
"You look a hot mess. Are you ok? Why did you sleep in so long? Did you have a nightmare?" Natasha said, quickly sitting at Olivia's bedside.
"I'm fine" Olivia said, rubbing her eyes. It took her a moment to really wake up and realize what was going on. "Wait . . . It's Halloween!" She said excitedly.
"We're going to the best neighborhood outside of the city. They give out the big candy bars" Natasha said.
"I better get ready so we can leave soon" Olivia said, jumping out of bed.
"Hold your horses. Trick-or-Treating doesn't start until it gets dark" Natasha laughed, loving Olivia's enthusiasm.
"Oh . . ." Olivia said, slightly disappointed. "Well what should we do?"
"We can kick around, talk about what you want to do for your birthday tomorrow" Natasha grinned, excited to celebrate. She had to think about what to get her and when to get it. Tony and Pepper had already gotten her a lot of things.
Olivia's room was decorated head to toe with things the couple had bought. A gaming system for her TV as well as a computer, a telescope for her balcony, books, stuffed animals, craft supplies, and other decorations she liked.
Natasha racked her brain of things Olivia could have possibly wanted. She wanted to give her the best gift. She knew that Olivia wanted a phone, because she liked playing on her's, but she thought she was too young to have one.
Then it hit her. The gift was simple, but she knew that Olivia would love it. "Let's go eat and watch a movie" Nat said, getting up, starting for the door.
"What movie are we going to watch?" Olivia asked, still in her pajamas. She wore white footie pajamas with flowers on it, her favorite pair. Olivia loved pajamas.
"Have you ever seen Toy Story?" Natasha asked as the two walked down the hallway.
"You don't have to ask . . . There's a good chance the answer is no" Olivia laughed, sitting at the kitchen counter.
"Well I don't know, you've got that TV in there, I don't know what you watch" Natasha said, opening the freezer to find something to microwave for lunch.
"I like to watch 'Try Not to Laugh' videos on YouTube" Olivia giggled, swinging her feet back and fourth. "I find lots of thing funny, so I never win."
Nat chuckled lighting, grabbing a bag of chicken nuggets from the freezer. "These look good to you?" Nat asked, before closing the freezer door.
"Yea, I'm not picky" Olivia said, her eyes wondering about the room.
"Sorry I'm not a good cook" Natasha shrugged, preheating the oven.
