That night after Harley had asked Olivia to be his girlfriend, Wanda and Natasha came to pick her up. "See you tomorrow!" Olivia said, waving as she walked to the car.

She slipped into the backseat, a small smile on her face. "So, did you have fun?" Natasha asked, starting towards the hotel.

"Yea it was fun" Olivia said, leaving out the part where her and Harley were now dating.

"That's all you have to say about it?" Natasha asked, knowing Olivia was usually more vocal about the boy.

Wanda cupped her hand over her mouth. "Harley asked her to be his girlfriend" Wanda said, reading Olivia's mind.

"What?!" Natasha uttered.

"Hey! We promised not to read each other's mind unless given permission!" Olivia scoffed, her face flushing red.

"Sorry, but you were clearly hiding something and we wanted to know the details!" Wanda said, defending her choice.

"Ladies, please" Natasha said, breaking up their feud. "What did you say?" Natasha looked at Olivia through the rear view window.

"I said yes" Olivia said softly, fidgeting with a loose string on her shorts.

Natasha nodded, staying quiet. All of the crush talk was okay with her, but now Olivia actually had a boyfriend. Natasha didn't realize how much she would struggle with the news. Olivia was an independent, smart girl, so Natasha wasn't worried. She just didn't want Olivia to grow up too fast.

"I can't believe that you have a boyfriend before I do" Wanda said. After all she was in her late teens, and had no experience in a relationship.

"Jealous?" Olivia asked.

"Only slightly" Wanda shrugged. The two had never bickered like this before, but it just meant they were growing closer and more comfortable around each other, which they didn't mind.

Once they returned to the hotel, Natasha scanned them into their room. "I'm going to scout out the hotel a little bit. See if they have gym and a pool, and also see where they serve breakfast. I'll be back soon" Natasha said, stepping out of the room.

She walked down the hallway and to the staircase, walking down to the main floor. She found the pool right away, knowing Olivia would want to swim. Next, she found where they serve breakfast, and lastly the gym.

She walked in, seeing no one else was in there since it was late. She sat on a weight bench and pulled her phone out of her pocket, calling Steve.

"Miss me already?" Steve joked, answering the phone.

"Yea, haha" Natasha said, sarcastically.

"Well you seem sprightly. What's up?" Steve asked.

"Harley asked Olivia to be his girlfriend and she said yes" Natasha sighed, rubbing her eyes with her free hand. "I don't mind, I really don't . . ."

"But . . ."

"But it's just strange."

"I don't know if anyone has told you this, but it's okay to mourn your child getting older. Especially with Olivia. Ten and Thirteen are not that far apart, but they're completely different stages" Steve said. He was sat at his normal spot on the couch. The TV was softly playing in the background.
