It was dark. Olivia sat in a painfully silent room in the underground's of the witch coven. Runes were cast on the walls, so Olivia was completely helpless other than her hand to hand combat skills.
The room was cold and lonely. It had been over a day since she was taken from the compound. As soon as she arrived she was thrown into this room without food or water. Just being back here gave her so many memories and it wasn't the first time she had been in this room.
The first time she was in this room was when she was seven years old. She had been reading many books in their library, trying to learn more spells and become more advanced than the other children. One spell she learned in particular was forbidden.
One afternoon she was caught casting this spell in the forest. All of the Elder Witches thought she was dangerous and kept her in there until they could decide her punishment.
Time felt like it didn't exist in the room. There were no windows. It was always dark, and you could rarely hear a voice passing by. It was truly, torture.
Almost a day earlier:
"Steve?" Natasha asked, knocking on his bedroom door.Steve got up and answered the door. "Yea?"
"Have you by chance seen Olivia since breakfast? I went into her room and she's not there" Natasha said, crossing her arms.
"I haven't. Do you want help looking for her?" Steve asked. Natasha nodded. With that they searched throughout, what felt to be, the entire compound. They continued to call out her name, but there was no response.
It even came down to them searching outside, but Olivia Romanoff was no where to be found. They stood near the lake, Natasha growing anxious. "Where is she Steve. Where could she have gone?" Natasha said, her voice shaky.
"We'll find her okay? I mean she's gotta be around here somewhere" Steve said, starting up the hill to go back inside.
"The front gate camera. . . We can check that" Natasha said, starting to run to her office. When she arrived she clicked on the camera footage and searched around, finding the footage of when Sarah was leaving the compound.
They watched as Sarah got into her fathers car and they drove away. Just seconds later an old women appeared out of dust with a snap of her fingers onto the porch. Natasha watched and listened with fear in her eyes as the elder witch took her child away.
Natasha broke into tears. She wasn't much of a crier, but she was crying more than she ever had. "Steve. . . We have to get her back. What do we do? They'll kill her" Natasha said, falling into his arms.
"We suit up and we go to Sokovia" Steve said in all seriousness.
"Even if we did go, we don't know where she is" Natasha exclaimed.
"You search for clues, I'll gather the group" Steve said, sitting at the desk, prepared to make some calls.
Natasha nodded, composing herself. She headed out of her office and downstairs to Olivia's bedroom. There had to be some type of clue there. She searched the desk, nothing. Her night stand, nothing. Her computer, nothing. She started opening dresser drawers, throwing clothes out of it and onto the floor. When she got to the very last dresser, at the bottom laid a small piece of paper.
