After the long ride, they finally made it to the outskirts of Wakanda, not yet passing through the hologram. Once they were close, Steve walked up to the front of the jet.
"Drop to 2600, heading 0-3-0" he said, leaning over Sam.
"I hope you're right about this or we're gonna land a lot faster than you want to" Sam stated. Olivia slightly wished that Steve was flying so that she could see Sam's reaction. Now she knew why her mother did it to her a few years ago.
They flew through the hologram, the view of Wakanda set before them. Wakanda was beautiful and so unique, unlike anywhere Olivia had ever been before.
The jet touched down on a huge landing pad, the door opening as they did so. Steve and Natasha lead the way out, everyone following behind. T'Challa and the Dora Milaje were there to greet them. "Should we bow?" Bruce asked.
"Yeah, he's a king" Rhodey said. Olivia just had a smirk on her face, knowing Banner was going to embarrass himself. Bruce cleared his throat, bowing for T'Challa. "What's are you doing?"
Bruce looked confused. "Uh, we don't do that here" T'Challa said. Bruce looked at Rhodey, upset. Olivia just laughed. The group walked on, heading inside.
"So how big of an assault should we expect" King T'Challa asked.
"Uh, sir, I think you should expect quite a big assault" Bruce stated. Olivia knew that Bruce was the only one out of all of them to ever meet or deal with Thanos, but he was annoying her.
"How we looking?" Natasha asked.
"You will have my Kings-guard, the Border Tribe, the Dora Milaje, and . . ." T'Challa said, pointing to Bucky.
"A semi-stable 100-year-old man" Bucky smiled, walking up to them. Steve pulled his long time friend into a hug.
"How you been, Buck?" Steve asked, patting him on the shoulder.
"Uh, not bad, for the end of the world" Bucky teased. Everyone started back for inside, Olivia pulling her phone from her pocket as they walked.
"Dang, no service" she groaned. She looked up seeing the leader of the Dora Milaje, Okoye, walking beside her. "Does Wakanda have wifi?" Olivia asked.
Okoye looked down at her for a moment. She didn't say anything, looking back up and walking quicker to catch up to her King. "Cool, cool" Olivia said, scratching the back of her neck. She didn't question it, because she didn't know the rules and regulations around here. She didn't want to judge.
When they got inside, Vision laid on a table, T'Challa's sister, Shuri, examining him. The whole group stood around just watching silently. Olivia watched, amazed. The technology here was so advanced.
"Woah" Banner said, watching Shuri do her thing.
"The structure is polymorphic" Shuri stated.
"Right, we had to attach each neuron non-sequentially" Bruce said. It was a good thing he was back, because if anyone else had to provide this information, they would be screwed.
"Why did you just reprogram the synapses to work collectively?" Shuri asked. Vision looked up at Banner, wondering the same thing.
