Fall came and went, and winter was coming in at full force. They had celebrated another successful Halloween and Birthday that year. Thanksgiving had passed and Christmas was coming.
"Merry Christmas Eve!" Olivia said as friends, they called family, started arriving for dinner. This was Olivia's third Christmas in America and it was without a doubt her favorite holiday.
They got the entire crew together this year. Maria Hill and Fury were the first to arrive, the Barton's were there, as well as Tony, Pepper, Sam, Bruce, Steve, and even Thor decided to pay a visit. They didn't celebrate Christmas in Asgard, but he hadn't seen his friends in a while.
"Come see my room" Olivia said, gesturing for Cooper and Lila to follow her. They hadn't visited the new compound yet, so Olivia was excited that they were here.
"Don't go far, dinner will be in five minutes!" Natasha called, setting the table. Natasha wasn't much of a party host, so hosting a holiday was even more stressful. Steve had done most of the cooking, so Natasha did a lot of cleaning. It was their first Christmas at the compound, so Nat wanted it to be special.
The compound was decked out in Christmas decorations. Just a few weeks prior Natasha, Olivia and Steve took the day to decorate.
"Can I put the star on the tree?" Olivia asked, pulling it out of a storage box.
"If you can reach it, be my guest" Steve said, hanging some fake branches along the top of the fire place.
Olivia rolled her eyes, gently using her power to lift the star up and place it on top of the tree. "Steve, sometimes I think you forget I'm a witch" Olivia joked. She gave the tree a little shake to make sure the star wouldn't fall off.
Natasha rummaged through a storage box, searching for the next item to put out in the living room. She picked up one of Olivia's Christmas crafts, setting in out of the way to look more.
"Hey, you're not going to put that up?" Olivia said, waking over to her picking up her popsicle stick craft of Santa clause. Olivia made this craft when she was ten, so the quality was without a doubt on a lower scale. "It's got a magnet on the back so it can go on the fridge."
Olivia went into the kitchen, sticking it to the fridge. When she let go, it fell to the floor. "That's stainless steel babe. Stick it to the side" Natasha said, trying not to poke fun at her.
Olivia picked it up, sticking it to the side of the fridge. "That's stupid" Olivia said, walking back into the living room. "Are the stockings ready to be hung?" Olivia asked, walking over to Steve, almost annoying him on purpose.
"Yea, go ahead and start hanging them" Steve said, stepping away to make sure it all looked even.
Olivia brought over five stockings. She hung them in a specific order. Tony and Pepper first, then Steve, then Natasha and hers. "Looks great" Natasha said, placing some snowmen figurines on a shelf near by.
Olivia looked out the window, seeing the cold winter sky. "Do you think it will snow on Christmas?" She asked. Olivia had always loved snow. The snow in New York was alright, but Sokoiva got heaps of snow.
"Maybe" Steve said, wrapping some tinsel around a post that was in the room.
"Steve did you put the light up trees outside?" Olivia asked, turning to face him. This year they actually had a yard, so Olivia was happy to add more decorations.
