It was early in the morning, 3:45am to be exact. The ride to Florida from Washington D.C. was a long 13 hour drive and Wanda wanted to get there as soon as possible after finding the information on Vision. Olivia stumbled out of her room, her eyes basically shut, her hair in a tangle. "Are you sure I can't go?" Olivia asked through a yawn.
"I'm sure. I need to do this alone" Wanda said, pulling her keys out of her front jean pocket.
"How long are you gonna be gone?" Olivia asked, walking over to her.
"Hopefully just two days, maybe three? It's a long drive. I won't even get there until dinner time" Wanda sighed, knowing that the drive was going to be extremely boring. As much as she wished Olivia could come with her, she couldn't bring herself to ask.
"What if I die while you're gone?" Olivia asked.
Wanda shoved Olivia's shoulder playfully. "Shut up, you'll be fine" Wanda chuckled. She pulled the brunette in for a hug, taking a few silent moments embracing her. "Don't let strangers in."
"Even if they did come in, I would be worried for them, not me" Olivia smirked, letting some green flow from her hand.
"And don't cause any chaos" Wanda said, using her magic to force Olivia's arm down. Olivia just furrowed her eyebrows, watching Wanda pick up her luggage from off the floor.
"I should be telling you that" Olivia said.
"I'll see you soon. Text me if you need me" Wanda said, opening the apartment door. She stepped out, closing the door behind her, the small hanging decoration on the outside, bouncing up against it.
Olivia sighed and moseyed back into her bedroom, sliding back underneath the sheets. She fell back asleep as if she had never been awake in the first place. Around three hours later at 7am, a loud bang could be heard outside on the street, startling Olivia awake. She jumped up, running over to her bedroom window to see what the commotion was. As she looked out, she noticed a bunch of construction workers on the street below, doing some road work. Olivia groaned loudly, shutting the curtains.
She walked over, flopping back into her bed, now feeling wide awake. She reached over to her bed side table, grabbing her phone and unplugging it from the charger. Clicking on the phone application, she decided to give Wanda a call.
"Hello" Wanda said softly.
"Hey" Olivia said, clearing the morning gunk from her throat. "How is your drive?"
"It's alright. Not too many people on the road. . .You're up early" Wanda said, glancing over at her gps.
"Some people are doing road work outside and it woke me up" Olivia sighed, getting out of bed and walking into the main living room. Pulling the phone away from her ear, she muttered a spell under her breath, casting her runes along the wall. Since Wanda wasn't here, she was able to do so.
"What did you just do?" Wanda asked, still being able to hear Olivia through the speakers of her car.
"What?"
"I heard you cast a spell I've never heard before" Wanda stated.
"You're not a natural born witch, so you can't even do this spell" Olivia stated. "Don't worry about it."
