Initially, Olivia learned the basics of fighting. How to hold her hand properly in a fist, how to punch, where to punch, and even how to kick.

Olivia was satisfied with herself. All of these steps seemed very easy, so she wasn't worried about the training from here on out.

"Alright, now that we got the basics out of the way, we have to work on flexibility, stamina, strength, and tumbling" Natasha said. She walked to the side of the room and pulled over multiple boxes, stacking them on top of one another.

"Your goal now is going to be to run up these stacked boxes and when you jump off, kick this glove I'm going to be wearing on my hand. I will show you first" With that, Natasha effortlessly did so, landing on her two feet.

'Easy enough' Olivia thought in her head. She took a few steps back, making a running path. She started to run towards the boxes, getting one foot on the wall before sliding down.

"Let me try again" she said, going back to her starting point. She ran towards the boxes again, getting the same outcome. Olivia did it over and over again, sometimes managing to get her second foot up there.

She was tired from running, and extremely frustrated with herself. She did it again, this time slipping and falling to the floor. "This is so stupid. I don't want to do this anymore" She groaned, getting up, starting for the door.

"Get back over here" Natasha said. Olivia froze. Natasha had never been so stern with her before. She turned around, looking at Nat.

"Quitting is never an option. If you want to save people, save lives, you have to be the absolute last person to quit" Nat said.

"No matter how many times I do this I can't get it, so what's the point?" Olivia said.

"The point is not only to learn the move, but to strengthen your mind. If you have this attitude, you'll never be able to do it. Start acting like you can, and you will" Natasha said.

"Fine" Olivia said, walking back to her starting point. She wanting this training to be over with, so she started to run. As soon as she got close enough to the boxes, she used a small puff of her magic to propel herself upward. It was just enough for her to get the trick just right.

"I did it!" Olivia said, trying to play it cool.

"Yea you did, but you used your magic. You really think I can't see green coming out of your hands?" Natasha said, crossing her arms. "I need you to know that it's ok that you didn't get this your first day. We will keep working on it ok?"

That they did. Weeks and months of training went by. Olivia got stronger, stealthier, and better with fighting techniques. She spent days practicing tumbling, as well as play fighting Natasha. "You're getting good at this kid" Natasha smiled as Olivia had just finished successfully landing a backflip.

"Thanks!" Olivia said, jogging over to her, giving her a high five.

"Hey, no training tomorrow" Nat said, wrapping an arm around Olivia's shoulder as they left the training room together.

"Why not?" Olivia asked, looking up at her, sort of catching her breath.

"Because it's Halloween!" Natasha said. Natasha had always liked Halloween, and this year, she was especially excited to take Olivia Trick-or-Treating.
