Within a couple of hours, a man returned, carrying an old, vintage television in his hands. "Per your request, Dr. Lewis" the soldier stated, placing it down gently on the counter in front of her.
"Thank you" Darcy said, watching the man walk away. "God, finally. It only took forever. . .will you crawl under and plug it in for me?"
Olivia sighed, taking the chord from Darcy. She stood up from her chair and knelt down, crawling underneath the counter and plugging the TV into the nearest outlet. "There" Olivia groaned as she crawled backwards from the wall. She continued to crawl until she could see the edge of the counter. The last thing she wanted was to embarrass herself by bashing her head on the corner.
"All right, let's get this baby hooked up" Darcy said, using her technology to hook up to the TV. "We have to make sure the broadcasting frequency aligns and maybe we will get something."
Darcy fidgeted with the stations on the television, along with the antenna until she heard some crackling rather than static. "You're so close" Olivia said. Just then the screen was visible. An old black and white sitcom played on the television; a roar of laughter could be heard. Then Olivia saw her. Her jaw dropped, her eyes widened, and her hand came flinging over her mouth in shock.
"What is that?" The big man asked, looking around for the source of the noise. "Who's doing that?"
Soon the TV had everyone's attention, a crowd starting to form around them. Darcy and Olivia just stared at the TV silently, both shocked at what they saw. A middle aged, Asian man, wearing an FBI jacket, leaned on the counter, gazing into the screen intently. "Is that...?"
"Yeah, it looks like her" Darcy stated.
"That's her" Olivia uttered.
"Look, I know it's been a crazy few years on this planet, but he's dead, right? Not blipped, dead" Darcy asked. Olivia just nodded her head out of a loss for words.
"What am I looking at?" Hayward asked, chiming in. "You. What is this? Where is this coming from?"
"Out there" Darcy explained.
"Is it authentic?" Hayward asked.
"I'm not sure how to answer that" Darcy stated.
Hayward continued to ask a load of questions that Darcy didn't have the answers to as Olivia sat there silently. Not something she usually did. She herself didn't know what was for sure going on. Was Wanda being forced into this by another magical being, or is Wanda doing this herself? Whatever it was, Olivia wanted answers and more importantly wanted to save her friend. Her family.
"So you're saying the universe created a sitcom staring two Avengers?" The FBI agent asked.
"It's a working theory" Darcy shrugged.
"Are we recording this? Hayward asked.
"Never stopped" Darcy said.
"I need immediate analysis. Now, people. Let's go!" Hayward said, leaving the room.
"He's a charmer" Darcy stated.
"Great work" the agent stated, starting to walk off.
"Hey thanks" Darcy smiled, leaning back in her chair. "Maybe I could get that coffee now? Or not, that's cool. . ." Darcy looked at the TV screen, watching a cute moment between Wanda and Vision, resulting in an audible 'aw'. She looked over at Olivia who was just in a dead focus on the screen. She hadn't looked away since it had popped up. "Hey, are you okay? You're looking a little pale."
