France, Greece, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand. All places Natasha, Steve, Sam, and Olivia had been in the last two years. They finally settled though, deciding to hide in plain sight. Olivia was now fifteen years old. Spending two of her birthdays in hiding was less than glamorous, but everyone tried to make it fun.

So much had happened over the last two years. Memories were made, close calls were had, but still no contact with anyone outside of their immediate circle.

Olivia walked down the street of the suburban neighborhood, watching kids play. She made it to the end of the street, walking up to the old brick house, going inside. "I'm home" Olivia called.

"How was the park?" Natasha asked.

"Fine. I was just swinging for a while" Olivia shrugged, pulling a water bottle from the fridge.

"Did you make any friends?" Natasha asked.

"I don't wanna make friends. I don't plan on living in Ohio long enough to need friends" Olivia stated.

It was Natasha's idea to come live in Ohio. She had lived here once before when she was young, so she knew it was safe and discreet. They had been living there for a little over 4 months now.

"That's no way to be. Besides, you can't tell me there's not a single person you've been talking to when you go to the park" Steve said, stirring some sauce in a pot on the stove.

"There's a girl around my age who I've had maybe . . . four conversations with. They don't really feel authentic when she thinks my name is Rose" Olivia stated, sitting at the kitchen table.

"Did you finish your homework before you left today?" Natasha asked. She never wanted to have to home school Olivia, but here she was.

"Maybe. . ." Olivia said, it clearly not being done.

"Olivia, you're in high school now. That's when grades start to matter. Do you want to get into college?" Natasha asked, sitting across from her at the table.

"College is four years away" Olivia exclaimed.

"It doesn't hurt to start thinking ahead" Steve said, beginning to place the food on the table.

Olivia sighed. "I'll get it done. The day isn't over yet" she groaned, not wanting to continue this conversation. Olivia didn't even know if she wanted to go to college. She had contemplated it before, but she had no clue what she would even do. She was a witch after all.

"What's cookin up here?" Sam asked, coming up out of the basement. He lived down there.

"Spaghetti. You joining us?" Steve asked. Natasha got up and started to set the table.

"I smelled food, why else would I come up here if I didn't want to eat it?" Sam asked, sitting down.

"Fair enough" Natasha mumbled, grabbing another bowl and fork for Sam.

They all settled at the dinner table, serving themselves however much pasta they wanted to eat. It was quiet towards the beginning of dinner, but the silence didn't last too long.

"I know I've brought this up before, and each time you've said no, but can I please get a phone?" Olivia asked. Just recently, Olivia had been thinking a lot about Harley. What he was up to, if high school was treating him well, even how he looked.
