I close the book in my hands and smile.
"And that's the story of Ivy Moore and Paxton Clark." I announce, to the room of people.
They all start clapping and cheering.
I smile and look over at my mom who was crying.
After everything that happened when I was younger, I couldn't move on. Ivy was like an older sister that I never had and even though I barely knew Paxton, I knew how much he meant to Ivy. Since I was younger I wondered what it would feel like to have that sort of feeling towards one person but now I get it. I feel the same feeling Ivy and Paxton felt with my wife. I grew up. I became a writer and I wrote the one story that brought me here today. I did it for Ivy and Paxton.
After that night we found out a lot of information. I found out what brought them together, their childhood together, and their love for each other. We also found the ring on her hand. He proposed to her. She was gonna get married. She was going to be Ivy Clark.
My mom hated them after what she found out. She was upset with me when I told her I wanted to write a book about them. She thought I was crazy but they never tried to hurt me. Ivy cared about me. She saved me. She helped my mom. I'm happy she's with Paxton. She deserves it. He makes her happy and she makes him want to be alive. The only reason he was alive was for her. He loved her with every bone in his body and you could tell just by the way he looked at that girl. Since the day he met her, he made sure to never leave her alone in this messed up world. They were more than soulmates, she died for him and he lived for the girl who made all the wrong choices and the boy who loved her anyways. No matter how many mistakes she made he never stopped loving her. They aren't soulmates, they're Ivy and Paxton, Paxton and Ivy.
Even after everything, after all the times they hurt each other and after everyone pushed the two of them apart they never stopped loving each other.
They pulled the trigger knowing that they would choose each other over everything.
She was like the moon, alone in the dark, night sky and he was the stars that surrounded her and made her feel like she wasn't alone in the dark. He would wait every day just to see her light up the dark, even if it took him his whole life, he would wait.
