I was the villain...

I run down the wet pavement, my adrenaline pumping throughout my body. I watch as the big tall buff man tries to run from me. He looks back at me before turning into a dark alleyway. I follow him and laugh as I watch him stare at the brick wall in front of him, he was cornered.

"You know that was pretty stupid of you," I say, smirking.

"Please, don't do anything to me," The man begs as he puts his hands up in surrender.

I roll my eyes before pulling my gun out of my waistband and pointing it at the frightened man in front of me.

"I think it's too late for that," I say, pulling the trigger hitting him right in the center of his head.

The booming sound of the gunshot echoing beyond just the alleyway as his body hits the ground.

I pull my phone out and text my dad.

He's dead.

I put my phone back into the pocket of my black ripped jeans and walked back to my black jeep, I grabbed the red gasoline can and a matchbox from the trunk before walking back to the dead man. I dump the gasoline all over his body before grabbing the matchbox and lighting it. I stared at the match stick that had a flame on it. I threw the match at the dead body and watched it go up in flames, I smiled before turning around and walking back to my car.

Ivy Moore, I'm a part of one of the best gangs in Chicago, I've killed a lot of people. I know I should feel bad for killing so many people but it's what I do, I don't really care I guess. I didn't really have a good role model growing up. My mom died of cancer when I was at a young age, so I came really close to my dad but of course, he was the leader of a gang. Which meant I was a part of it too, but now I'm the best killer in the whole gang and it makes my dad proud. That's all I want. For him to be happy.

I pull up into the parking lot of a huge building in the middle of nowhere. I turn the car engine off and step out of my car. I listen to the sound of my heels tapping against the concrete as I walk inside the building. I pull the two glass doors open and walk-in.

"Hello, Miss. Moore," One of my dad's men greets me.

I nod at him as I make my way to the elevator.

This building was where the whole gang was, my dad had it built in the middle of nowhere so no one would find us. It was filled with all of my dad's men, they all killed but mostly protected my dad and me.

I reach the third floor and walk down the long hallway until I reach my dad's office.

"I shot that guy right in the forehead perfectly!" I cheered as I pushed the office doors open.

I frown as I look at my dad sitting at his desk with two guys sitting in front of him.

One of the guys turns around to look at me and I feel butterflies in my stomach. I've seen him somewhere but I couldn't put my finger on it.

He looked around my age, he was gorgeous, he had blonde messy hair, bright blue eyes, and had piercings in his ear. He was wearing a leather jacket and tight white shirt underneath.

I stare at the gorgeous man and he looks me up and down before smirking.

"Ivy. I'm glad you finished your mission, but we have guests," My dad noted.

I quickly looked away from the guy, pushing my thoughts away before walking to my dad and standing next to him across the two guys.

The other guy looked around my dad's age. He had brown hair and hazel eyes and he was wearing a nice black tuxedo.

"Ivy, I want you to meet my best friend I was telling you about, William," My dad introduces.

"William, you remember my daughter," My dad adds.

"Nice to see you again, Ivy," William says as he reaches his hand out for me to shake.

"Oh you don't wanna touch my hand, kinda got blood on it from beating people up," I state, as I smirk.

The gorgeous guy next to William chuckles.

"Well, Ivy, this is my nephew, Paxton," William introduces.

"Hello beautiful," Paxton says as he waves his hand flirtatiously.

Willam quickly nudges Paxton in his arm, making Paxton look at him and roll his eyes.

"I'm sorry about him," William apologizes.

My dad chuckles.

"It's fine," My dad says as he smiles.

I sigh and roll my eyes.

"Can I please go now?" I complained to my dad.

"Honey, we need to talk about something very important," My dad says.

"Dad please, can we talk about it tomorrow? I'm tired," I groan.

"Fine, well, William and Paxton are gonna be living with us for a few days, or more," He replies.

"Of course they are," I say, rolling my eyes.

"Well, I need you to take Paxton home with you while William and I talk a few things out," He adds.

"Yeah no, he can uber," I reply, as I walk towards the door.

"Ivy Moore. You are taking him home with you," My dad says sternly.

I sigh before turning around and looking at Paxton.

"Let's go," I commanded before walking out the doors.

I walk down the hallway confidently.

I just wanna go home and sleep.

I roll my eyes as I hear footsteps speed up until they are right next to mine.

"You know, that was cool, how you beat people up and killed someone," Paxton states.

"Yeah well I'm kinda known for that," I say looking at him.

"I'm a part of a gang too," He adds as we walk into the elevator.

I press the first-floor button and watch as the elevator doors close.

"Look, Paxton." I start. "I don't care if you're in a gang and I definitely don't want you talking to me," I say as I look him dead in the eyes.

Paxton chuckles.

"Please we all know you would get killed pretty easily if your daddy didn't have all these weapons and men working for him." He says as he walks towards me until my back is touching the elevator walls.

"I don't need anyone to protect me. " I say as I glare at him.

All of sudden the elevator doors open.

Paxton looks at the doors then back at me.

"We'll see about that Ivy," He whispers as he smirks.

He pulls away from me and walks out the doors.

I stood there in shock.

No one talks to me like that.
