• Chapter Two : Train to Hogwarts •
[••• --- •••]
September 1st had finally arrive and it only meant one thing. The new term starts in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
(Y/N) was on her fifth year and, on Fred and George's simple words, the 'stress' year for O.W.L students. But as (Y/N) grew fond of being in a family full of Ravenclaws, this wasn't the entire 'stress' for her.
The actual stress for (Y/N) was actually happening at that very moment. She was walking to where her friends' compartment are while holding her owl's cage and her trunk and some third and fourth year students kept on pushing her to the side, which made her annoy for a reason.
Clutching her bargain tighter for like the fourth time in that hour, she continued traipsing on the Hogwarts Express' corridor, and eventually looking every compartment for her friends.
This was the trouble of not being with your friends when you enter the secret platform nine and three-quarters because there were only a few possibility of seeing them on the train to Hogwarts.
At that moment, another fourth year had decided to run across her, and eventually, conciously or unconsciously, pushed her aside.
"What in the bloody hell's his problem?" she hissed under her breath, glaring at the fourth year boy who just turned around to a compartment, laughing.
She hadn't been having another step when someone had pressed over her. Hissing in a silent pain, she sharply glared to whoever the person was, however, she blinked when she realized that the person was rather familiar.
"Harry!" said (Y/N) in relief. "Thank goodness! At least I've found one among the others. I've been looking everywhere - oh!"
A boy in, according by his looks, sixth year, had crashed into her out of a sudden.
Disregarding the fact that she had been holding her owl's cage, she tossed it somewhere as she literally lost her balance.
As cliché as it was, someone, or to be rather straight, Harry had caught her arm, pulling her closer to him and glared at the boy.
"Will you look to where you're running at!" yelled Harry at the boy, who merely grinned at (Y/N) before walking back to where he should be.
(Y/N) felt Harry's hand clenched into fist, and feeling his forthcoming anger, she stood straight to her feet and held his arm to stop him from attacking the boy.
Harry, however, unclenched his fist noticing that (Y/N)'s hand had been resting on it. He looked down on her, and slowly, his anger towards the boy slowly departed.
"Are you alright?" Harry asked, eyeing every single skin of her, looking for any physical damage.
"I'm okay, Harry." said (Y/N), brushing off Harry's worried look. "Listen, I was looking for Cho and Luna. I was supposed to sit with them, you know. Have you seen them?"
Harry frowned. It wasn't the thing he had expected to hear from her.
"Yeah, I - I saw them." said Harry, scratching his nape to throw silent glares somewhere else.
"Will you escort me, then?" said (Y/N) hopefully. She had her infamous puppy eyes so that no one could resist her. And to her mild astonishment, but to Harry's melting heart, he had agreed openly.
"Sure." he said, picking up Minnie, (Y/N)'s owl, from the floor, and her trunk.
"Hang on a moment. I can handle Minnie. Let me have her." said (Y/N), walking beside Harry.
