[••• ––– •••]

"I expected more than that." said Cho, as she and (Y/N) walked on a crowded corridor of Hogwarts in the first day of school after the holidays. "I expected snogging and shagging in the broom cupboard —"

"Well, maybe you could ask Hermione or Ron and not me." interjected (Y/N) irritatedly. "They got more interesting stories because they're already dating."

Cho signed resignedly. She was just trying to corner (Y/N) into telling her that she had also been expecting more than what had happened in the holidays. But Cho could see that she had enjoyed every single of it without any hesitation.

"Alright, sorry." said Cho, sounding like one. "I know I've been trying to invade some of your privacy and I promise I won't do it again. I won't ask you anything about you and Harry or something like the sort..."

The fifth year Ravenclaw girl turned to look at her best friend, a sigh escaped through her nose.

"It's not that I don't want you asking, Cho..." she started, holding the strap of her bag tightly to avoid it from sliding off from her shoulder. "I could tell you everything that had happened because I want to, not because you were so persistent. It's just that... there's a perfect time for those things and I think it's not the time yet."

"Alright, Miss Heather." said Cho teasingly. "But anyway... have you seen the bulletin board this morning?"

"No." said (Y/N), furrowing her eyebrows. "Not yet. Why?"

"Well, there's another Hogsmeade visit in February." said Cho with a small smirk on her face. "Exactly in Valentine's Day."

"Valentine's Day?" asked the fifth year Ravenclaw girl, confusedly looking over her shoulder.

"Yes." said Cho, looking incredulous at the lack of interest. "Why aren't you reacting?"

"What should I react?" said (Y/N), as they turned left for another noisy corridor.

"Well, come on, (Y/N)." Cho said exasperatedly. "Hogsmeade visit? In Valentine's Day? Don't you have any plan?"

The Heather girl kept quiet. Plan? For the Valentine's day? Surely, she would have planned something for her friends on that day. Normally, for the past four years, she would be the one who plan something for her girl friends such as picnic in the Black Lake or strolling through the secret passageways, or playing Quidditch.

But it seemed like she couldn't think of anything to do on that day knowing that it was also scheduled for the second Hogsmeade visit. Not to mention the small thought of the possibility of Harry asking her for another date to Hogsmeade that obscured her planning for her friends.

"(Y/N) Cynthia Heather!" Cho yelled on her ears as she dozed off thinking of things. "Are you still with me? Or are you in your dream world that includes Harry James Potter?"

(Y/N) scowled at her. She looked around whether someone had heard her, but luckily, no one was there for an attempt of eavesdropping.

"Shut it." she said carefully. "What were you saying?"

"I was saying —" said Cho. "— if maybe we could go to Hogsmeade together? You, me, Hermione, Luna, Pansy and Ginny? Just the six of us?"

"Yes — Yeah, I've been thinking about that." lied (Y/N). She had not been thinking about it. "Without the boys. All girls."

"Great!" Cho said happily. "That's the plan then? No boys? I should tell Ced then that I won't be able to spend the day with him."

"Bet he won't like that." said the Heather girl, grinning.
