[••• ––– •••]

(Y/N)'s and Andrew's friendship grew close as January dragged on. You will never see the other without the other. It was becoming to be like Harry and (Y/N) only a few months ago. The only new thing was that (Y/N) looked much happier than she ever had since Slughorn's party.

She never had a breakdown after that day in where Andrew had comforted her until midnight. She was much calmer than before — thanks to her new company, Andrew.

Harry had never caught on, however. He was still trying to be an excellent student of Hogwarts, yet he had never forgotten that he had a girlfriend. Sometimes, when he was not that busy, he was making up for the time he had spent studying for (Y/N). The girl didn't hesitate to accept a cuddle because she had missed him too.

Although Harry kept on apologizing for being so busy, (Y/N) only waved him off and told him to forget it. But deep inside the girl, it was partially fine to keep him at bay while she do her things without anyone asking questions. It wasn't like she didn't want to be with Harry but she knew that she couldn't dig something out of the murders if she was with... someone.

On the good side, at least for (Y/N), the Gryffindor boy became busier when February began. The Gryffindor versus Hufflepuff Quidditch game was looming closer. The schedule for the last four games for the term was posted on every bulletin board in their respective common rooms. And the next game was for Gryffindor and Hufflepuff (since they lost the last game) on the first week of March. The next game will be in Slytherin versus whoever team loses on the last game in the second week of April. Next will be the two winners of the past two games on the first week of May and last will be the Championship game in between Ravenclaw and the winner of the last game on the first week of June.

(Y/N) have months of relieved breath because her team will not play until the Championship match that will certainly be the judge for whoever team deserves the Quidditch Cup.

Harry, with his new shining Captain badge, brought himself into a tighter schedule than he ever imagined. Throughout February, he was seen in either the Gryffindor common room, in the Quidditch pitch, or the library with no (Y/N) present. Because of this, rumors were flying around the castle that they had, perhaps, broken up. And the rumors had strengthened when people began seeing more of (Y/N) and Andrew together than Harry himself.

The Potter boy didn't seem to mind at all when he heard those rumors. He knew to himself that Andrew was just trying to keep (Y/N) company because he couldn't be there for her nor Cho since she was becoming as frantic as Hermione because of her N.E.W.T. exam, and Draco was busy on becoming a prefect and a Quidditch Captain as well.

On the day before Valentine's Day, (Y/N) was making her way to the windy Quidditch pitch to watch the Gryffindors as they practice. Wearing Harry's Gryffindor scarf around her neck, she strode out of the castle down to the pitch. The whole Gryffindor team members were on the air. Harry was in the middle, a whistle on his hand, and was watching his team as they play in the air.

(Y/N) made her way up to a stand where some audiences were watching. When she caught sight of a familiar bushy-haired girl, she immediately made a beeline for her.

"Hi." greeted (Y/N).

Hermione was startled as her first reaction. Looking up, her eyes wide, but soon sighed when she realized that it was just her Ravenclaw friend.

"Hi, (Y/N)." Hermione greeted back, scooting over to give the girl a space to sit on. "I haven't seen you for a while, except for classes, of course."

"Just busy." replied the Heather girl. "And I'm sure that you lot are busier than me, you know, being prefect and all."
