• Chapter One : Home Sweet Home •
[••• ––– •••]
The newly released music of BTS entitled "My Universe" blared in apartment number 1129 where a young witch sat on the floor with a few books and flyers around her. She had been into different museums in New York and she had gotten everything in front of her from the kind saleslady and tour guide of the said museums.
A soft grin spread on her lips as she leaned on the end of her bed with a certain flyer in her hand.

(Y/N) stared at the website in pure interest. She wanted to register and enjoy the free services. But her schedule wouldn't fit her. The visit was supposed to be held in August but she promised her mom and dad that she will go home in the first week of August for the preparation for her seventeenth birthday.
Ah, yes, she was turning seventeen now. She was about to enter the adulthood phase of a witch. She can use magic outside school once she reaches seventeen. Seventeen, indeed, was a good yet terrible number.
For (Y/N), turning seventeen means maturing, or at least, turning into a fine lady. For her, seventeen was something she should think about before actually entering it. She was horrified at the fact that in a few weeks, she will be seventeen.
(Y/N) stood from her original position and walked next to the window. She was on the seventh floor. Basically, she could see how high she was from her place.
She opened the window and peeked down. The sounds of cars rumbling and people muttering from below reached her ears. It wasn't a new environment, but she was still trying to get used to it.
It was quite different from the scenery she had back in London. From the green lawn of their Quidditch pitch to the high gray buildings she usually stares at in the morning.
It was a good way to forget. What with the number of tourist spots and interesting food stalls, of course, she would have done everything to forget.
The thing was that she missed her old home. She missed London. She missed her parents. She missed her friends. She missed him...
It has been nearly a month since she left them for herself. Was she selfish for doing that? She does think about that a lot as she stared at the ceiling of her apartment. But from time to time, she would read the letter that she received from an old friend every single time that consists of some words of wisdom that she knew she needed at a time of being alone.
He told her that it was a good thing to be with herself once for a while to remind herself that she, too, is a human that needed to have a break. She had been too preoccupied with trying to protect everybody that she had forgotten to protect herself.
And, yes, Andrew Paul Steward said that. He kept on writing to her to keep her posted from the wizarding world. Because of him, she knew that Harry was finally home in Potters' house.
(Y/N) didn't know what to feel about that news. She was having a hard time admitting that she was happy to know that Harry was fine now. She just couldn't grasp the real reason why she was feeling a bit strange about it.
Maybe because she hadn't seen him since he had to go to St. Mungo's? Because the only letter she sent to him had only consisted of her goodbyes? Because the last thing she wanted to see right now is Harry's disappointed face?
