[••• ––– •••]

"We have to go."

"Hmm, no."

"Harry, you have your last Quidditch practice."

"That can wait, baby. This can't."

"Potter!"

Sighing, Harry left (Y/N)'s neck, slightly annoyed at the disturbance.

"You have to go." said the Ravenclaw girl while fixing her uniform. "I'll just see you tomorrow... breakfast before the game. Understand?"

When Harry didn't reply, (Y/N) shook her head and tiptoed to give him a kiss on the cheeks.

"Good luck, Potter." she said and turned to leave their usual meet-up place.

The Gryffindor boy was left — yet again — alone standing there while watching the girl walk away from him for the hundredth time.

It has been two months since the term started. Nothing different happened around the school. The lessons were still tough, the upcoming exams were still bugging the students, Draco and Hermione still can break their time with their Head Girl and Boy duties, and their friends, Ginny and Luna were getting the hang of being sixth-year students, Pansy and Blaise were getting stronger as well as Hermione and Ron.

(Y/N) still does her things. Talking to Andrew through her phone, sometimes talking to Daniel, scrolling through her social media, studying, judging Elaine, and, yeah, secretly meeting Harry.

Nothing really happens. They would just talk for hours, go stargazing together, making out, but nothing too serious about it.

After so many times they had met, Harry would assure (Y/N) that Elaine was no one to him and that he was annoyed at her too. (Y/N) would always say it was fine but she couldn't tell him her concern about wanting him to just blow Elaine off.

Harry didn't know but (Y/N) was practically dying every time she sees him with the leech.

And now, just like any other day, Harry and (Y/N) met up in the same bathroom they used last time they secretly met for the first time. Only this time, their time was limited because of Harry's last Quidditch practice before the first ever game of the season. Unlucky for him, it was against Ravenclaw.

Great, he had thought after McGonagall told him the game schedule. We're losing the first game.

Harry was brought back to reality as he reached out for his cheeks where (Y/N)'s lips had touched, a small grin was prominent on his lips.

Harry thought she was perfect. Always been perfect.

After a few seconds of contemplating whether he should move or not, he finally decided to do the latter and picked up his bag from the bathroom floor.

He made his way out to the Quidditch pitch for his last practice with his team. The whole team had already changed into some Quidditch gears when he arrived.

"Be there in five minutes." he muttered as he walked past them towards the Captain's office in the Gryffindor locker room.

"Okay, Captain!" Elaine cheerfully said, but Harry ignored her whole existence.

He swore he heard Ginny scoff before he closed the door of the Captain's office. He dropped his bag on the table and sat down on a chair, feeling as though he had just drained his energy just by walking.

His mind drifted off again while he put on his Quidditch gears. His lips were slightly red from biting it harshly. He wanted (Y/N) to be there for him.

"God, (Y/N)." he mumbled, smiling to himself while grabbing his broomstick.
