• Chapter Twenty : Hoodie Season •

[••• ––– •••]

For the fifth time that hour, (Y/N) bursted out laughing for God knows what reason. She was clutching over her stomach as she tried stifling the rest of her laugh. Her other hand remained upon the skin of Harry, preventing her into laying on the cold floor of the Hogwarts castle.

"For Rowena's sake, Harry!" she choked, wiping her upcoming tears forming on her eyes. "Stop those things. It could kill me in a second."

"But I still have one more." Harry said, grinning. "What did zero told to eight when they met in the mall?"

"What?"

"Zero said, 'Hey, nice belt!'."

The Ravenclaw girl snorted, covered her mouth to stop herself from laughing any further, and leaned her head closer to Harry as she let out a laugh again. Harry was holding her close as he laughed as well.

"Stop it already." she whined after another session of uncontrolled laughter. She was wiping her tears as she leaned back from Harry. "Where did you get those puns, eh?"

"Dad." said Harry coolly, grinning as he helped her wipe the remaining tears on her cheeks. "He told me it worked for mum and asked me to try it to you. I think it worked as well."

(Y/N) giggled, slapping Harry by the arm.

"Why? Don't tell me it didn't work." said Harry cockily. "You were laughing so hard you could just crouch on the floor if you weren't preventing yourself."

The girl playfully glared at him yet she leaned closer to kiss his cheeks.

"Charming." she muttered, her butterflies flying all over her chest.

Harry grinned at her, preventing himself from kissing her pink lips. He wrapped his arms around her waist, pulled her even more closer, and placed his lips upon her nose, which wrinkled cutely as he leaned back to watch her.

"Mr. Potter. Miss Heather." said a kind voice from a far corner of the empty corridor to where (Y/N) and Harry were.

The Ravenclaw girl and the Gryffindor boy jumped away from each other, both flushing in embarrassment with the fact that they got caught together over an empty corridor, flirting with each other or whatsoever people might call it.

The two looked over and saw the Hogwarts current headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, walking towards their direction with a serene smile. They then peered over to each other, both thinking the same thing. They are in a close contact to an upcoming detention.

"Happy evening to the both of you." said Dumbledore kindly, still smiling as he peered over his half-moon eyeglass.

"Happy evening, Professor."

"Good evening, sir."

Both fifth year students spoke at the same time in the same weak and nervous manner.

"I take it as you two are going to have your Astronomy class together?" Professor Dumbledore asked.

"Yes, sir." said Harry, taking slow breaths as a preparation for the worst. "We were — we were about to go, sir."

"I see." said Dumbledore. He halted on a safe distance in between himself and the two nervous students. "Then walk along then. And be careful. It is really unadvisable to walk alone, or I should say, without any adult company, in this days. You know what I mean."

(Y/N) and Harry stared at Dumbledore for a while before smiling sheepishly. They couldn't believe that they didn't get any detention nor any points had taken from their Houses.
