[••• ––– •••]

"Couldn't we just stay here?" said Harry grumpily from behind (Y/N). "I wanted to sleep properly."

"That's your problem." retorted (Y/N), ignoring his heavy sighs and groans as she continued walking.

"I was looking after you!" Harry reasoned out, his feet scrambled and soon after, he was walking beside (Y/N).

(Y/N) looked up to him sternly and with raised eyebrow. She was annoyed or amused, Harry didn't know.

"I slept alone for the past five years in Hogwarts and  no one had ever attacked me inside the dormitory before." she said in a McGonagall sort of voice.

"Still." said Harry shortly, looking at her straight to the eyes.

Both of them had finally stopped on their tracks, eyes affixed into each other's. There was a pause, no one was making a sound.

Harry grinned. (Y/N) grinned as well. And there they were, laughing in the middle of a deserted corridor and both not minding if they're going to get caught.

"But honestly, Harry." said (Y/N) after a confused minute of laughing as they continued setting off towards the Hogwarts grounds. "You didn't have to look after me. See what it gets you... Lack of sleep."

"Fine..." said Harry, his grumpy voice came back. "But I've got to admit it... You're beautiful when you're asleep."

"That's creepy but thanks." said (Y/N) briskly.

The bespectacled boy stared at her blissfully before he snaked a hand on her arm and down to her hand, intertwining them together as they set off quietly on a corridor, down to another passageway and soon reaching the grounds.

It was a bright and sunny morning of Saturday, a perfect condition for outside activities like swimming in the Black Lake or sunbathing or playing Quidditch in the pitch or try some new spells. However, as a tribute for all the students who took their difficult exams, Dumbledore decided to have that day for the last Hogsmeade visit for the year (first and second years still weren't allowed).

Harry supposed it would be a great day to own (Y/N) again for the whole day but before he could let out this thought, Cho and Cedric already told them that they were all going to Hogsmeade together with their other friends. One reason why Harry was so keen to stay behind... to have a reason to have his girlfriend with him all day.

The grounds was filled with students chatting and walking like them. A little way out of the grounds was the Black Lake, and as usual, it was filled with half swimming half drowning students while some people were cheering joyfully upon Fred and George's new stunt with the Giant Squid with Lee on the end of the lake happily receiving some gold for a 'payment for the show', all of whom were from first and second years who couldn't go to Hogsmeade and some were seventh years who didn't want to go to Hogsmeade.

(Y/N) looked up curiously into the sky. It was void of clouds but was covered with pure forget-me-not blue shade. Birds and owls were flying up above their heads. It was a very nice day.

"Here they are!" said a voice (Y/N) recognized as Cedric's. "What took you two so long?"

The Ravenclaw girl lowered down her gaze and had fallen on her group of friends. Cho and Cedric were standing together in front of a carriage, Pansy, Ginny and Luna were already inside the carriage, all of whom were sitting comfortably while chatting, Draco and Blaise were sitting on the hard ground, a pack of Self-Shuffling cards were in front of them.
