• Chapter Eighteen : Confide •

[••• ––– •••]

(Y/N) couldn't sleep that night. She barely remembered how she told Professor Lupin not to tell the information to anyone, not even to other teachers nor her friends nor her parents. She couldn't remember how she went back to the Ravenclaw Tower. She didn't even know if Harry had accompanied her back or not. All she practically remembered was the feeling of Harry's hands over her own and his lips on her forehead and cheeks. But all in all, she couldn't remember anything good on her surroundings.

The thought of being followed wherever she goes and secretly being photographed made her insides create an unknown turmoil and deep dread on her stomach. Since Professor Lupin had told her those things, she started feeling uncomfortable wherever she goes. She couldn't help but to think for the worst.

But she didn't confide this to anyone else, not even to Cho, who asked her constantly on the following day whether she was feeling alright because she was so pale and looked like she hadn't slept for years, nor to Hermione, who immediately noticed that something had happened when she saw the tiny eyebags that (Y/N) tried to conceal with a powder, nor to Harry, who was asking her what was wrong or what did he do that made her unable to bond with him like the usual. She didn't say anything to them, not even to the Slytherins, because she was afraid of having them worrying over her personal problems. She didn't even want to look at them in the eye for the past few days.

Even her parents, she couldn't bare to tell them. She knew her mother was already worrying about her dad because he just left for another dangerous Auror mission so (Y/N) thought that her mother already have a lot on her plate to worry about. So, she didn't say anything about the stalker thing to her from her last letter that she had sent.

Its been weeks now, and (Y/N) thought it was the worst weeks she ever had. For one fact was that she barely talk to anybody, afraid that she might burst in and might start to speak to them about all of her worries. However, the past few weeks had been really tough because she had just learned that someone might be watching her every time she was alone.

She was with the company of her friends, yes, because she knew that if she hadn't, her anxiety would grow more horrible each passing seconds. But she didn't tell them. She couldn't tell them. Although, they had noticed every single seconds of being silent, they would stop pestering her the moment she tell them to shut up. But they're not stupid not to think that something had happened.

Cho, Hermione and Pansy were getting worried, and thought that they need to ask (Y/N) about what had happened before the Hogsmeade visit.

The three of them fought their way into (Y/N)'s last lesson on that friday which was Transfiguration. The moment they saw her with the other Ravenclaws, they made their way towards her direction.

(Y/N) was talking to Padma with something, but Cho, Hermione and Pansy could sense her weary aura as she spoke with a forced smile. Of course, they're her friends, they would know whether it was a real or fake one.

"(Y/N)!" called Cho, rushing over her sides.

The Heather girl was shocked at the sudden appearance of her friends.

"What — what are you all doing here?" she asked, eyeing Padma cautiously.

The three girls looked at each other as though deciding who to speak. When almost every single Ravenclaws had passed by, Hermione decided to do the honor.

"We wanted to talk to you, (Y/N)." she said. She was uncertain but there was a firm tone in it. "If you don't mind."

(Y/N) knew what they wanted to talk about almost immediately. She wasn't ready for it, but she thought that maybe it was time to tell them, yet she wasn't sure whether it was a great idea.
