• Chapter Twenty Three : Distressed Lass •

[••• ––– •••]

The event on the night before was, unexpectedly, became quiet. One reason is that the other students were already drunk and asleep when it happened. Second was that Hermione and Pansy did a small Memory Charm over the very few students who had seen the event.

(Y/N), being the center of the incident, remained on the confines of the Ravenclaw Tower the next day, feeling both stressed and anxious over things that had happened and will happen soon. Harry, her boyfriend, stayed for her that night until she had finally fallen asleep on his arms. He had to remain into their dormitory for the night, thankfully, (Y/N)'s dorm mates didn't mind his presence at all.

By the morning, Harry had woke up first than (Y/N) herself. He saw her with her head close to his chest, sleeping soundly. Her arms were curled cutely in between them while holding a small portion of his shirt.

He smiled and wrapped his hands around her waist while his other hand that was supporting her head played some strand of her hair. He kissed her hairline softly before he felt her stirred feebly.

Harry hastily picked up his eyeglass that was placed on (Y/N)'s bedside table and fixed it on his eyes. When he looked down to {Y/N), he saw her slowly fluttering her eyes open.

"Good morning, love." muttered Harry with his hoarse morning voice.

(Y/N)'s eyes were weary and tired as she buried her face on his chest again, mumbling;

"Morning."

Her voice was unusually raspy and muffled against Harry's shirt, making the Gryffindor boy felt his heart squeezed in a tight guilt. The incident last night might have stressed her out, making her feel tired than she ever had.

"You feeling okay, darling?" whispered Harry on her ears, completely aware of the shufflings and mumblings around the dormitory.

"Hmm." hummed (Y/N), shaking her head. "Headache."

Harry raised his head a bit to stare at her pained expression. She really looked like she was in mild pain. He sighed, bringing her stray hairs into the back of her ear soothingly.

"Listen." he muttered firmly. "You stay here and take a bath, alright?"

"Where are you going?" (Y/N) asked, looking up to see his face.

"I'm going to Madam Pomfrey to get you some headache medicine." said Harry patiently.

(Y/N) let out a sigh, she knew she needed a medicine at that moment that's why she let Harry stand up from the bed, leaving her curled up inside her blanket.

"I'll be back, love. Don't worry." said Harry, leaning down to her face to kiss her forehead. "You'll be fine soon."

The Heather girl looked up at him, feeling remorse and guilty for bothering Harry like this. She watched as Harry changed his shirt into a more comfortable one on his school bag, (Y/N) couldn't remember Harry bringing it up last night, probably Hermione brought it up when she was asleep. When Harry turned to open one of her curtain, (Y/N) managed to let out a small noise of grunt, gaining Harry's attention.

"Yes, love?" said Harry worriedly.

"Nothing." said (Y/N) hastily. "Just not used with the light."
