• Chapter Thirteen : Draco's Advice •

[••• ––– •••]

A pink rose slowly dropped on (Y/N)'s outstretched hand. Eyebrows scrunched, she looked around, fingers around the thorn-free stem. Soon enough, she caught sight of a smugly smirking Harry James Potter on the side of the chamber where she and her co-seventh-year classmates were waiting for their Arithmancy class.

A small smile appeared on her lips as she turned around, hiding her blush from everyone else. She glanced down at the pink rose again and saw that there was an attached parchment on the stem below the petals.

She reached out and flipped the parchment over. Her smile grew wide. It said;

Smile, beautiful.
– Potter ♥

She took the parchment with her and slipped it into her pocket. As for the rose, she carefully placed it in her bag to avoid being seen or being asked about where it came from.

(Y/N) glanced around again to gaze at the Potter boy.

"Shut up." she mouthed and playfully glared at him.

The raven-haired boy pretended to be hurt and held his chest, frowning and pouting his lips.

The Heather girl laughed, shaking her head, before looking away from him.

He had been doing this for the past week after the after-game party. Every morning, he will look for her and ask her how her sleep was, and will force her to eat properly. Every class, he kept on gazing at her as though looking for injuries or something. The only thing that (Y/N) didn't like was that it was all discreet because their friends (Pansy and Draco) doesn't want them to be in one place.

The door of the classroom opened and Professor Vector beckoned her class.

(Y/N) turned to look at Harry, who quickly detached himself from leaning on the wall and hastened to go closer to the girl.

"I'll be waiting here." he said, pecking her lips shortly. "Smile, love." he added, pinching her cheeks.

"Oh, come on." groaned (Y/N), yet her smile was wide.

The boy chuckled and winked.

The girl waved before entering the room, leaving the boy behind.

Harry licked his lips in anticipation and turned back to his original place, where he comfortably sat on the ground with his bag leaning against his side.

Yet again, he was bored. He wasn't the type of person to read books and stuff but he still asked (Y/N) for a book just to pass time. He did that to have an excuse to talk to her once. He didn't know that it actually has an advantage now.

Half an hour later, Harry's eyes slightly drooped against the book he was holding. He took a glance at his watch and was disappointed to see that he had more minutes to wait.

Maybe I can take a small visit to the kitchen, he thought. It wouldn't hurt anyone if he'd take snacks with him, especially now that he had planned to take (Y/N) somewhere during lunch break.

Harry shoved the book inside his bag and stood up. After making sure that the class was still ongoing, he traveled down straight to the basement.

It only took a five-minute walk since Harry practically memorized the whole castle by now. He doesn't need to use his Invisibility Cloak since his first excuse was that he was in a free period. He only hoped not to see Hermione or Draco in the corridor.
