°Chapter 17~ Sir Billiam. . .°

Karl's POV~

Cat held me close, I had calmed down a little,"Hey. . . It will be OK. . .", I nod,"I-I should go find Sir Billiam before. . . Something bad happens. . .", Cat nods, I stood up, my whole body shaking as I walked away from Cat. . .

I eventually found Sir Billiam, his suit was completely ripped, had vines all over him, he had scars of the egg and his hair was a mess. . .
I gulp, I slowly approach him,". . .U-Um. . . S-Sir Billiam. . .?", he turned to me, I flinched a little, he looked at me,"Karl. . .", I gulp, I nod and straighten myself up a little,"I-. . . Yes. . . It's me. . .", Sir Billiam was in shock,"I-. . . You survived?", I nod,"Y-Yeah. . . You um. . . Also, survived?", Sir Billiam walked over to me, I closed my eyes in fear. . .!

I then realised he was. . . Caressing my cheek, I slowly open my eyes to see he looked so shocked but had something in his eyes,"How. . . I-I don't. . .", I smiled nervously,"I. . . I have a lot to tell you. . .", he nods. . .

Eventually, we got back to my place, I was still shaking like crazy, Sir Billiam looked around,". . .", I got to my chest and went through my things, I pulled out a white jumper, jeans and socks, I turned to Billiam,"So, um. . . You can go to the bathroom and clean yourself up and change into these, s-sorry that--", "No, these will do.", I was surprised, I showed him to the bathroom and helped him run a bath. . .

While he was cleaning up, I slapped myself a fair couple of times to make sure I wasn't honking dreaming, but no. . .

I was awake. This was real. And now; I have to tell him he's in 2021.

Soon, the door opened again and he came out. . .

I smiled,"It suits you.", he nods and sits down on a chair.  .  .

"Where am I. . ."

I gulp,"Um. . . About that. . . Billiam. . .", he turned to me, obviously confused,"What. . .?", I took a deep breath,"Um. . . Remember, how I said I lived very. . . Very far away. . .?", he nods, I reach down and pull out a calendar,"Um. . . Just-Just look at the year. . .", I hand it to him and covered my face. . .

"HEH!?"

He jumped up holding it,"2021?!", he looked at me with shock, I nod,"Yep. Welcome to the future.", he looked at me, and then at the calendar,"But. . . If-If I'm in the future. . . And you live here. . .", I nod. . . I sighed heavily,"Yeah. . . I'm not from your time period. . . Guess I should explain how. . .", he nods and sits down. . .

I nod,"Yep. . . That's why I um. . .", he took a deep breath,"If. . . What your saying is true, how am I. . .?", I snap my fingers for a second,"Um, I think. . . The Egg could keep someone alive for. . . A long time, I mean. . . You look at the same age from when we last met.", "So. . . The Egg is like. . . Like a shield?", I shrug,"I guess. . .", I was still scared of him. . .

"Do they know?", I look up,"H-Huh?", "Your friends and lovers?", I shook my head,"N-No. . . Because. . . They wouldn't believe me. . . And. . . I wouldn't want. . . To drag them in. . . My mess. . .", he looked at me. . .
I look up at him,"U-Um. . . I know, someone like you, he's called Techno, I'm sure we can. . . Get him to help you?", "I see. . .", I nod and went to my shelf for a book. . .

". . . I'm sorry. . ."

I turned to him,"W-Wha. . .", "I said. . . I'm sorry. . .", I sighed,"I know, you are probably terrified of me. . . But, I just want you to know that I truly am sorry. . .", I nod slowly, I slowly pull out my book,"I mean. . . Everyone has their reason to do something, like Bad. . . But, why did you. . .?", he looked away,"I. . . I shall tell you another time. . .", I slowly nod again. . .

I was still shaking. . .
