I'm here, my moonlight

A/n: Hello! I'm back, Apologies for the long long hiatus. I was busy with my work and household chores however that didn't stop me from posting this one-shot story~

This is dedicated to my friend who went through some tough times, and I thought I make this for her~ Remember, if you have a friend who has a problem in life and is having a hard time- do check on them and tell them they are not alone. Sometimes they bring joy in a group of friends circle, but if they show vulnerability- don't forget to show them that you are there and be a wonderful friend who is supporting and caring to other people~

Anyway- this is a modern Oneshot, pairing up with Federico x F! Reader~ This has fluff at the end :3

The silence between you and the table, as the rain started pouring. Lifting your head to listen to the rumble of thunder outside of your home, it was only seven in the evening and you just finished eating dinner. You got up from your seat and cleaned up, sauntering close to the sink. You placed the plates there, a few moments later the sound of rain grew stronger.

You sighed, you couldn't hear it. When you turn on the faucet, the flow of water coming out of it- you can't hear it as well. A small blow of cold wind touches your skin, the chilling feeling didn't make you stunned, it made you shiver from the cold. When just the rain and the silence- you are secluded.

You couldn't tell why are you feeling this way, yet, it grew on you for a while. You struggled to be cheerful towards your friends online, appreciating what they do and you couldn't help but smile. Then- either reality or darkness chased you down like snow white running in the forest, frightened from the dreadful-looking creatures.

That thought snapped you back to reality when the doorbell rang loudly. You jumped a little bit, it is unexpected someone rang your doorbell. You turn off the faucet and went out from your door, "Who could that be?" You asked. The rain appeared to be strong than the sound, you cannot see who rang and the darkness took over the gate entrance. Someone called your name, "(y/n)!"

You can hear the call, but the rain is overwhelming. Grabbing the umbrella beside you, opening it to protect you from it. You proceed to open the gate and a bouquet of (y/favorite flowers) is in front of you. Puzzled look from you, you face the person who is carrying it. You gape, "Federico?!"

The eldest brother of the Auditore family chuckled and looked at you. "May I come in?" He asked, you could hear him but not the rain. You let him enter your home, you can see his jacket was soaking wet. His hair is damp, you gave Federico the rolled towel. "Here, dry yourself up." You handed it over to him, "Grazie, (y/n)!" He takes off his jacket, placing it on your chair.

You can't believe that Federico stopped by your house. You look over your table to see the flowers he gave you "I'm surprised you gave me those, Federico."

"Thought I buy them for you, my baby brother told me. " He chuckled, you shake your head, "Really? Ezio told you?"

"Of course!" Shaking his head like a dog to remove the remaining water in his hair. You look to the side before glancing back at him. " Federico, why did you visit me?" You ask him. He looked at you with a smile, " To see you, (y/n). " It made you blush, staring at the floor. "Uhh- any reason why?" Still staring below.

Federico put the towel aside as he approached you. " (Y/n), I may not have the right words to say but I know what you've been going through. Ezio and his friends told me about it." You let out a deep sigh, expressing the uncertainty in your head. TellinFedericoio your problem,
"Sometimes darkness made me feel small, and I tried to be happy but it felt like it wasn't enough for me."

You see Federico coming towards you, gave a weak smile. " You may show your vulnerability, but it doesn't stop your bubbly personality and your kindness to everyone. That made me fall for you." He finally said it on the last part, deeply moved from his words, your eyes brimmed with tears, falling on your cheeks. Federico hugged you tightly, he pulled away and wipe the tear away from your eye.

"Those tears will ruin your pretty face," he teased, you let out a small laugh. "Thank you- I-I don't know what to say. " wiping your tears. Federico looked up, he grinned.
"What is it?" You asked, he pointed his finger in the air. "You hear that?"

You noticed the rain stopped, Federico takes your hand. "Let's go outside," you two head outside, stopped on the spot. You notice the ground looked bright, "Ehi! (hey) Over there." Federico pointed to the sky, you gaze to see the bright moon. "Wow," whispered in awe. "That moonlight proves that there is light in the darkness, and you're that moon over there. But, that moon isn't alone. The stars are your friends, who cherish you very much."

He stopped and faced you, " And I'm here, my moonlight." Your smile grew from his sweet words holding his hand tight remembering you have wonderful friends and a wonderful boyfriend~
