A/n: Art by me~ and you what today is it? It's his birthday! Luckily, I was able to think of the story so added to the what if's an original story and let's get on with it! Enjoy!

--------------------------

It was a nice day, as for me and my fellow assassins and templars are preparing for someone who is a birthday boy today.

We kept this as a secret behind Arno's back, I even asked their help because I don't know how to celebrate a birthday during the french revolution. We all planned without him, he didn't ask what was going on so it's clear and perfect surprised for him.

I was in my room planning to buy the ingredients for his birthday cake. I grabbed the list of ingredients that was given by one of Arno's household when I was about to go out, someone pushed the door in front of me causing it to hit my head and I shouted, "Ouch!" Groaning in pain and holding my head.

It was Arno and rushed to me, "Are you alright? I'm sorry!" He apologized.

"No no, it's fine," I said massaging my head. Arno sighed and loosen up for a bit, then he noticed I have a satchel with me. "Where are you going?" He asked. I flinched, he must not know what am I exactly doing. Although it might be understandable that he knows that I'm good at baking, I can tell a lie and a truth.

"I was about to get some ingredients for the kitchen," I told him. Arno looked suspicious then he asked, "Are going make something?"

"Yeah, well I wanna try something in this era so why not," I simply said and was about to go out then I heard a deep sigh. I glanced over and Arno looks down on the floorboard, "I don't know why but everyone seems to busy today," he paused.

"I tried talking to them and they're- somehow ignoring me or are they tensed today?" He said. I looked away, trying not to show my grinned face because he hasn't found out yet,

"Well, you should be busy as well. Don't you have anything to do?" I asked him before I took off. "Well- yes I have, I might ask the council since we are still looking for your phone," he told me.

"Well you do that, I'll be off then!" I said and took off then my arm was pulled, Arno stopped me. I looked at him, "What is it?" I asked.

He stared at me, not knowing what was going on. "Did I- do something bad?" He looked worried and assumes that he something wrong, I shake my head once. "No, you didn't," I told him.

"Come on, you are an assassin. Try to roam around and see if you can find the hints to find my phone," I said. Arno lets go of my arm, "Alright." He nodded, then I continue to run outside to go to the store where all the baking needs. As I exited from the cafe and stroll to the store, I suddenly feel bad for Arno. But, he hasn't know what we're actually doing, planning a surprise birthday for Arno which it might be embarrassing for him.

I did notice how he acts around his hideout, being all serious, dark fanaticism, gaining redemption. So I planned to make something goofy for him, but only on his birthday. The assassins are busy- busy by decorating the cafe which Arno wasn't allowed to go in, even his maids and his butlers are helping too. For the food, tables, everything.

They know what's up, I smirked and I couldn't hold my excitement. I arrived at the baker store, I need to thank Evie for showing me the way. I entered the store and it looked fabulous I must say. My baking instincts just went up to the charts, seeing how they are packed well and the utensils. I could admire them all day but I have to get the ingredients, then a woman who managed the store found me looking around.

"Bonjour mademoiselle, do you need help?" She asked. I showed her the list, "I needed these items," she takes a look of it and she was excited to see it grabbing my hand. "Certainly madam! Come!" Then she pulled me, helping me grabbed the ingredients I needed. How much energy does she have, then she put all of them inside a sack and gave it to me.
