What should I do (Part 1)

Author's note: This will be a very sensitive story to those who are in a relationship even when it comes to FIRST LOVE! I recommend not to read this if you're not comfortable.

You were laying around on your bed scrolling down your Facebook.
newsfeed, until one of your close friends posted in a black background. Your brain clicked when it comes ta o black background, either your friend had a bad day venting something through their personal life, break-up, pet died or bad parenting. You read the post
"I am not good enough, wish I killed myself."

You're thinking about what's going on, then your friend Desmond messages you on messenger. "She fucked up!" He said. You can tell his tone is a bit bitter than last week, he assumes his girlfriend is not touchy to him like she used to. A little information about yourself; you and your boyfriend helped your close friend Desmond Miles who is having a little trouble with his thicc gf. They broke up two months ago now they went back together since November, just so you know Desmond's gf is his first love.

You replied to Desmond: "How come?"

"Should I tell you?"

"Go on?"

"She cheated on me."

That few sentences made you jaw dropped,

"HUH?!"

"I'm very emotional right now!"

You typed quickly like a tap tap game in extreme mode. "Hold on, when and how did you know she cheated on you?"

It took him 1 minute to reply back, you can tell he's hurt. Awfully Hurt. Then he replied with a long ass message, you text Desmond before you read his long message. "Lemme read this," you told him.
"Go ahead..."

As you read: "let's say I kind of stalked her subreddit account so I logged in her account there and I saw a few messages from her chat with another guy saying that they were going to meet each other. They were together like a month now! My heart is breaking (y/n)! How could she do that to me? Huh?! Am I not good enough for her?! I even tried to kill myself in front of her!! When will she ever realized her actions, of what she has done to me! I can't! I just can't!"

After you read the message, knowing Desmond never wanted to kill himself and now he almost did because of her. Then again you thought it's wrong for him to kill himself, as a friend you never wanted to see him dead. You knew it was wrong before, you type in the chat until few people like Ezio, your punny friend, Altair, the parkour friend, and Jacob your boyfriend asking what happened to Desmond. They all say: "We tried asking but he didn't respond back," I texted them with the same answer one by one with "I'm talking to him right now, I'll explain later when we're done." They responded with a like emoji then Desmond asked me in our chat, "What should I do?".

You can't tell if he's open up about what happened. You need more details from him, you don't want to jump conclusions like what would he do. You have to talk sense out of Desmond before he does anything stupid, then again knowing that's his first love. It will be too hard for him, too painful and it will take months or weeks for him to move on. Sounds cliche, he needed to move on. But how will you help Desmond, from his excruciating pain in him now? You only told Jacob about what happened. He feels bad for Desmond, he'll try to reach out to him and hope to reply back. You haven't responded to Desmond, you're trying to avoid the consequence of what you are going to say. Jacob asked to help you talk to Desmond and you agreed, both of you managed to talk him out however he broke down while explaining the whole story.

You and Jacob asked yourselves, "Will he ever move on such severe pain he has?"
