Sonic's pov
Day 21 *continued*
Me and Ames went out and she bought me chilli dogs... and I know I know... the guy has to pay for the girl, but... she did say she'd pay... It's funny... Before she forgot me she'd be dragging me to be alone with her, but now being alone with her... It's pretty nice... I walk with my arms folded behind my head, it's a nice day so I suggested walking through the park for a bit... It's weird moving so slow but Amy seems to be enjoying the scenery, she always has liked being outdoors... she's looking at the flowers.
"I hope creamy makes me a flower crown soon"
"She probably will" my mind is thinking back... I've ran from her so many times before... She never seemed to hate me for it... she got angry sure... but she'd always brush it off sooner or later... how did she even forget about me?
"Sonic?"
"Hm?"
"You ok?..."
"What do you mean?"
"You're quiet..."
I'd grin and joke, " I didn't know you liked my voice that much..."
"That's not what I meant and you know it... I may have forgotten you but I'm pretty smart"
"Just thinking..."
There was a pause of silence.
"Is it because of sally?"

I'm lying on my bed remembering what Amy asked earlier and watching it play in my head on repeat.

"Is it because of sally?..." Amy asked looking at me with her jade eyes
"Sally?"
"You guys did just break up so I just assumed-"
"Yes it's because of sally...

I open my eyes looking at the ceiling quietly, my thoughts are soon interrupted.
"Ready for me to beat you at street fighter again?"
I turn my head to see my best friend.
"Pft, I'll win this time, just you wait I am the fastest thing alive after all"
"And that's where you fail, you don't think before you act" the yellow fox smirked and I roll my eyes he sits on my bed beside me, "I plan and think ahead, that's why I'm the smart one"
"What's up?"
"What's up? I should be asking that... what were you thinking about?..."
"How'd you-"
"I was coming up to check on you, I thought we were going to hang out, that is why I came over to your place after all..."
I sit up, "sorry bud..."
"'No no don't say sorry I'm just curious..." he said looking at me.
"It's nothing..."
He pauses, "is this about sally?"
"What?... no... why does everyone seem to be asking that today?..."
"Everyone's asking?..."
"No... no... not everyone..." I shake my head and would hesitate before saying, "it's about Amy..."
"Amy?... that's new..." tails observed.
I fix my quills from lying down they got a bit messy and would just nod.
"Well?... what about her?" He asked.
"She's going to be upset if she finds out I ran away from her those many times... especially if it's true that she did like me... I can't let her find out..."
"If?... there's really no question she did have a crush on you sonic it was obvious" he said without a hint of uncertainty and furrowing his eyebrows.
"It couldn't have been that obvious" I frowned.
"I think you were too distracted by running, sally and fighting egg-man for your head to realise what was right in front of you... Why do you think she wanted to hang out on dates so much?..."
"I thought she was joking when she said dates..."
"You're a slow thinker aren't you bud?..."
I'd frown more and would wack him with a pillow, not too hard though, just enough to knock him over.
He'd shake his head and laugh a little, "sorry sorry... however... she's going to find out sooner or later about the times you ran off whether you like it or not"
