day 80

Sonic's P.O.V

Me, Knuckles, Tails and... Scourge are watching a film right now at me and Tails' place. I still despise Scourge however I'm trying to be friendly because my sister is dating him. I can't believe I'm in a room with him though I can't help but be disgusted. We're watching a horror and Knuckles keeps jumping everytime something pops up on the screen and I don't just mean the scary stuff it could just be creepy music followed by a normal person coming on the screen.

Scourge is enjoying making fun of him though. I have to tug Knux's arm to restrain him. It looks like Tails' is glued to his phone. As I continue slouching on the couch I hear him laugh and I can't help but curiously ask, "hey bud- whatchaaaa doinnnnnn?" I ask elongating the question playfully.

"Messaging cream- she's pouty cause Amy hasn't let her try any of the chocolate eggs for Easter..."
"Gosh- one of the perks of joining this group has been the chocolate!" Scourge groaned at the drooling thought of Amy's chocolate and to be honest i don't blame him Amy's always had a talent with that sort of stuff.
"I'm surprised she's still doing that tradition..."
"This year since she doesn't remember you that means she won't make you as a big a bundle as usual..."
I can't help but frown, I don't mind not getting a big bundle, but it's the fact that there's a tiny gap of distance between us now compared to before. A gap that used to be filled by her fangirling. Now, my life seems more... Quiet.

I wonder... If it would be possible for me to fill that gap before saying anything Tails, seems to read my mind. "Let's go to the store?"

I've bought a bunch of ingredients to make chocolate I just- haven't done this before. I can't ask Amy because- it would be nice if I could keep it a surprise... Knuckles, Tails and surprisingly Scourge are directing me with what to do to make it from googling online.

"Strawberry chocolate huh? I guess pinky also enjoys eating the pink stuff" Scourge said while watching Tails scroll on his phone finding the right recipe.
"We probably shouldn't go too advanced as we're not at Amy's level, this one looks easy enough..." Tails explained tapping on one as I got a bowl out of the white drawer in the kitchen. I then look at the echindna and hedgehog crowd around Tails at my left side in the kitchen.

"Melt the chocolate-" Tails began to say.
"No problem!" I smile before speeding in a bowl and cranking the temperature of the microwave to it's highest.
"Good job sonic!" Knuckles high fived him.
"I didn't finish my sentence!" Tails exclaimed.
"Idiots, you need to stir it in between or it'll burn!" Quickly scourge took it out the microwave not expecting it to be so hot it burnt him and consequently he dropped the bowl causing it to shatter, "how did you make it so hot!"
"Whoops..." I smile nervously.

Second bar of chocolate
"Why is it so hard to not burn it?" I groan about to throw it in the bin I'm holding the bowl with a towel because it's so warm.
"Wait! I'll eat it!" Knuckles rushes to grab it- he quickly dropped it without realising the bowl would be hot. Once again, another bowl was shattered on the ground.
Tails' would facepalm himself, "I'll clean it up..."

Third bar of chocolate

"It's so beautiful!" I feel tears coming to my eyes I've finally done it.
Tails dipped his finger in, "mmm- Perfect!"
"I wanna try~" Knuckles grinned rushing to dip his hand in, before anyone can stop him, he tries to put his hand in- which is way too big for the bowl and breaks it. We all groan a guess we need to try to do another one.
"Whoops..."
"He finally had it and you idioti-" Scourge would begin to scowl.
"What are you trying to say to me?!" Knuckles nearly punches scourge but me and Tails' quickly grab the red echdina's arm.
"Now now knux! Let's relax!" I say through the strength that's left over from trying to hold him back.

Fourth bar of chocolate
"Add freezer dried Strawberries and an optional 1 drop of red food dye." Scourge reads.

Easily I did this part without a problem now I was feeling happy- I've got this. Nearly finished now. I poured into the egg moulds before putting it in the fridge so it could settle for two hours. "Yes! Finally!" I exclaim happily dashing around the kitchen in excitement. Gee even if Amy's talented it must take so long to finish all the chocolates she makes.
