Amy's P.O.V

I'm so happy! It's been so long since I hung out with Sally. I'm in her royal kitchen teaching her how to bake cupcakes- she wanted to make some for Manic since during everything that happened between Sally and Sonic he had always been there for her. So cute.

He really loves her and he's waiting for her. It's so heartwarming how much he cares for her- I'm tearing up... Must remind me of something... It's only a few tears, so I'm able to wipe them away and instruct Sally what to do. Even though I carry on normally, she gives a sympathetic glance to me, and I just smile softly as if to tell her I'm fine.

"Okay- the consistency looks good," I clap happily seeing the bowl from my seat, I'm sitting down to allow her to do it by herself since that's what she wanted. She must really want to thank him, she's never been interested in baking.

"Thank you for helping me Amy," she smiles as she slowly pours the mixture into the cupcake moulds.
"No worries, besides it's been a while since we've seen each other, I hope you haven't been stressing yourself too much..."
"It's just really hard to sort out this situation with another kingdom right now... We're trying to become allies, but it's so complicated..."
"I'm sorry, Sally..." I frown it must be difficult having to sort out so much things, including your own life...
"Don't be- I love being a princess but it's so much..."
I just frown and would get up from the wooden stool to hug my friend, she's hugging back softly. She's more tired now a days...
"At least I can nibble on one of these cupcakes when they're done" she laughed.

I'd giggle in response before gently letting her go, "they should be good to put in the oven now..."
She'd nod before opening the preheated oven to put the cupcakes in, " I can't believe I'm going to make cupcakes that taste good!" She rejoiced.
"I'm sure Manic would love them even if they weren't, after all they're from you."
"Well thanks Amy... So, how's Sonic?"
"He's good, always really helpful, you must miss him."
"Surprisingly, I'm good. I don't think it was meant to be..."
"Really? I mean- that's good I guess I'm just surprised..."
"Too many problems between us besides I think he needs someone that can accept all of him, he's always running... Not only that I think he feels restricted around me..."
"I'm sure when the one comes for you both you'll realise it." I reassured and she'd just smile.

"How's your love life going?"
"I mean, I'm trying... But I don't know he's just... I don't know maybe I'm just a perfectionist..." Dexter is a nice person it's just something about seeing him just isn't clicking... Last date with him has been a while we text from time to time, but as a doctor I guess he has a busy life.
Sally would just frown in response before suggesting, "maybe he's not the right person?..."
"Maybe... Just testing things out..."
"Well... What about Sonic?"
"What about him?..." I tilt my head in confusion.
She'd just begin to smile and shimmied her shoulders jokingly- instantly I understood.
"Wha- no no Sally he's just a friend... No romantic tension between us at all."
