Amy's p.o.v
Sonic, sonia and manic are practicing at my house again and I am just sitting on my kitchen chair watching them play and let me just state the obvious... They are amazing. I continued to watch them with sally and smiled. When they finished playing the song we both clapped happily. I honestly thought it was going to be really awkward if sally and sonic were in the same room but they are actually fine... I think.

I look at them both once again to try to read both sally and sonic's facial reactions. However, only knowing Sonic Uhm well not really knowing but you understand... for nearly 3 weeks I can't read past what he's thinking. I look at sally and I still am unable to understand she's always been good at concealing things. Should I even be trying to get involved? I was part of the reason sonic and sally broke up and knowing that pains me. Maybe if I could help them get together I wouldn't feel this way I twiddle my fingers awkwardly continuing to observe sally and sonic.

It's been 5 days since their break up and neither of them have really told me anything about much about the break up. Sonic and sally must have noticed me looking at them because of the fact they both gave me a concerned look.

Sally walked over to me holding onto my arm taking me to the living room while sonic followed.

We went in the living room allowing manic and sonia to continue practicing in the other room.

I fiddle with my hair as sonic and sally both sit down on a chair beside me.
"So what's wrong?..." sonic began.
"Nothing" I responded not wanting to worry them more.
"That's obviously not true" sally looked at me more concerned, "you kept looking at us"
"Yeah, you gave us that look you get when something is going on in your mind" Sonic frowned at Amy.
"You can tell?" I looked at sonic surprised
"I told you before didn't I? We were really close friends..." sonic smiled Sally remained silent.
"Well it's nothing..." nothing that's really any of my business..."sorry for worrying you"
Sally frowns before saying anything else she gets a text message, "I have to go back to the palace Amy we'll talk later..."
I nod in response and sally leaves but sonic stays...

"Aren't you going to practice with sonia and manic?"
Sonic continues to look at me.
"What?" I frown again waiting for him to say something.
"Amy..." he puts his hand out for me to hold so slowly I give him my hand, I guess after the dance I'm a lot more comfortable with him touching me. He holds my hand, then closes his eyes taking a breath before saying anything else. "What's wrong?..."
He opens his eyes to look at me.

Sonic's P.o.v
Gosh her eyes... I guess I never realised the way they shimmer... "nothing's wrong." She responded.
I sigh before saying anything else, "Amy don't you trust me yet to tell me what you're thinking?..."
"I..." she hesitates... meaning she doesn't...
"Amy it's fine... I get it... you still don't really remember me... So why would you trust me..."
"Sonic..."
"Amy it's fine honestly" I give a smile and I mean it... it's fine... I was a big idiot anyway... This time I was just to slow to realise anything. I let go of her hand and begin to walk out the room until feeling a slight tug on the hand.
I turn around and I'm inch away from Amy, "ok...you caught me... it's just... I..." she takes a deep breath, "it's been days since you guys broke up... and I don't want to make it about me... but, I hate knowing that I was the reason you guys broke up..."

"Ames..." I sigh looking at her I pull her hand and give her a hug, "we broke up because the timing wasn't right... There's too much happening right now... you're not our reason for breaking up... just mine... I wanted to focus on helping you remember me and Sally has to much duties right now to attend to at the palace... who knows we might get back together just...not right now... so stop feeling like this was all your fault.... ok?..." giving her a smile I look at her directly in the eyes.

"Are you two gonna kiss?..." we turn around to see sonia and manic.
"No!" I frown
