Sonic's P.O.V

Slap.

"Ow! Sal relax!"
"Leaving me stranded?! Really?" The brown chipmunk glared while speaking in aloud and firm tone, "Right in the middle of the ballroom? If it wasn't for Manic who came back in a few minutes after I would have been left all alone, do you know how embarrassing that is?"
"Ames is my friend!" I explained.
We both stayed quiet, and I sighed, not knowing what to do. Immediately once realising I wasnt going to say nothing more I left my house without uttering another word.

Amy's P.O.V

I'm watching Manic, Sonia, and Sonic practice once again, but the blue hedgehog is zoning out repetitively.

I'm also noticing tension between Manic and Sonic. Manic is hard to anger. In fact, I've never seen him angry... Until today...
"Come on, bro! Do better! I thought days like this were supposed to be for practice!" Now he's looking at him. The green hedgehog is looking at him with a look I've never seen from him before. His eyes were clouded with rage. Sonic didn't let this affect him as he continued to look at his guitar in his hands.
"Shut up." Sonic muttered coldly.
The green hedgehog would just glare, and quickly Sonia suggested, "Time for a break?" Thank goodness because if she didn't it was looking like Manic would strangle his brother

Manic hadn't looked at me all day, and Sonic hadn't looked at Manic all day. I wonder why. Getting out my seat, I slowly approached Sonic, and Sonia would grab her other brother, "Come on, let's go get some snacks..." Before leaving.

I gently touched Sonic's arm in response he'd shutter. It was as if he had come back to reality. He still was holding his guitar whilst sitting on a stool.
"Sonikku?... What's wrong?"
"Today isn't one of the best days." He said, forcing a smile, "Sally and I argued this morning, and I'm mad at Manic just leaving you alone at the spring ball..."
"What happened with you and Sally?..."

"Oh..." Amy said, biting her lip after I had explained my situation.

"Yeah, I messed up... I just stood there also..."
"I'm sure there's a way to make it up to her... Maybe you could organise a romantic date?"

I couldn't help but be surprised with her suggestion it's been nearly two months, but I still remember when Amy would be the one asking me on dates.

"You're quiet. Did I say something wrong?"
"No! N-no" I stuttered although something about this did feel wrong.
"You could take her to the park tonight there's a movie playing there they set a projector up and play a movie just see what they're playing at certain times and you can decide which one you want to show up for" she giggled happily.
"In the park? A movie?... I mean, that does sound nice..."
She'd nod proudly.
"What exactly would be romantic to do on this date?" I asked out of curiosity, mainly wondering what Amy's idea of romance was.
She'd clap happily for the question, and I'd chuckle.

"When the moments right you grab her hand"
I'd grab the pink hedgehog's hand quickly, holding it over my guitar, and she'd shake her head while tutting.
"It's not a race, sonikku..." She'd let go of my hand slowly holding mine and intertwining our fingers. "This is much more romantic. "
I felt my cheeks go pink, and I'd tease, "Wow, you're good."
"I do watch a lot of rom-coms"
Chuckling once again, I said, "I know."
"Then watch the film and slowly move yourself to sit closer to her. Then you hold her chin gently and lean in and kiss her - only, however, if the moment is right, "
Her eyes were sparkling with excitement from her plan.
"Did you catch all that?"
"I think so..."
"Alright, show me,"
"Eh?!
"Come on sonikku your not going to actually kiss me. Just show me what you're going to do."
"O-oh..."
"Pretend I'm Sally..."
She'd turn her head to the right as if she was watching a film.
"This is silly Ames." I'd blush.
"Who is this ames? I'm Sally, you're girlfriend, sigh bringing up other girls on our date."
"Wha-"
"Sh! The movie is playing."
I couldn't help but laugh from how seriously she was playing the part her eyes were facing  even though she was focusing she carried a slight smile across her lips. Continuing with holding her hand, I looked down at it before placing down my guitar with my other hand and standing up.
Gently, with my left hand, I would lift her chin to face me as she gazed at me. I felt warm all over again. I looked into her jade eyes. Her beautiful jade eyes. Slowly, my fingertips would run through her quills before stroking her cheek delicately before my hand travelled to gently traced her lips.
They were soft. So soft. Slowly, I began to lean then-
"Perfect, sonikku, to be honest, I didn't imagine you as the romantic type..." She'd giggle.

"Huh? I'm romantic!" I gasped I began to tickle her.
"Okay, okay, you proved your point." She'd laugh more, and I couldn't help but blush more as I looked down at our hands intertwined.
"Hey sonikku?..."
"Hm?"
"Did we laugh like this together before, too?"

Sonic's p.o.v
I'm here outside the acorn castle. I'm wearing a tuxedo and holding roses. However, the more I think of it, I don't think Sally likes roses as much as Amy.

The guards allow me in, and I make my way upstairs and knock on Sal's door. My collar is itchy, and I'm nervous that Sally might still be annoyed. She opens the door and glares at me.
"Listen sal, can you forgive me? I'm sorry about earlier... can we -"
Before I can continue, she wraps me in her embrace and presses her lips against mine from the haste I drop the roses. Gently leading me to her room.

I began kissing her back, but the longer it went, the more I thought about the pink hedgehog earlier and how her lips felt on my fingertips. I shut my eyes tightly. What's wrong with me? I run my hands through her brown hair, but once again, I'm met with the thought of Amy's pink quills and the way the smell of sweet perfume and roses lingered off. I feel my face flush with the thought of the pink hedgehog.

She holds my hands. They fit but not the way Amy's just glided into mine. I break the kiss, and Sally looks at me with a confused expression.
"What's wrong?"
"I think I'm getting sick... I'm sorry, sal. I should probably head home."
She continued to watch me until I sped out the castle. What's wrong with me?
