Day 75

Sonic's P.O.V

She's in the book store... Maybe we could get her a book voucher?...
Manic and I are watching Amy. We're still trying to figure out what to get her.

The pink hedgehog began walking out the store with the orange echidna's arm linked in hers. I wonder what they're talking about... It feels like Amy's never the one who invites me out like before, I'm usually the one who tags along with her, or we're trapped together because of the storm...

She's wearing a pink flowy floral dress that goes up to her knees with puffed sleeves. So pretty... I must have been staring because my cheeks are also heated up.

"Simp" Manic coughed. Obviously I wasn't doing a good job hiding my reaction... I glare at the green hedgehog as we continued to hide behind one of the pillars in the mall. Peeking from behind occasionally to continue spying. My feet begin to ache. Yes you heard me. They've been walking a while and the fastest thing alive's feet is beginning to ache that's how long it feels like we've been watching. Tikal and her have been mainly buying books.

Tikal's P.O.V

"You know Sonic and Manic are watching us don't you?"  I look at my friend as I place my new books in her green messenger bag.
"Mmhm" she giggled while noffing.
I pause, my thoughts keep conflicting whether or not I should tell Amy who Sonic was to her. But this was her wish. This is what she wanted... Therefore, I stop myself, then I ask, "how are you and Sonic?"
"Hm? We're ok, I feel like he worries about me a lot..."
I want to ask what she means about that, but I don't want to pester, so I stay quiet she then asks me with a smirk.
"Want to mess with them?" She asks with a slight singing voice.
"Amy, that's not nice..." I sigh.
"It'll teach them not to stalk people - that's pretty kind of us" before I could say another word, she pulled my arm rushing into another store.

Manic's P.O.V

A shovel. Rope. A body bag? All things I didn't know you could even buy all that stuff in the mall. Sketchy.

The dude selling them this stuff however was easily persuaded.

He seemed to be asking what they needed the things for, although Tikal was panicking. Amy gave a reassuring smile, and he was sold. Dude was won over by the Amy charm quickly it seems...

I could hear my brother mutter slightly underneath his breath but I don't know what. I do recognise the look on his face however... jealousy. Scary. Feels like a dark aura is surrounding him.

"Wait! Bro... I think they've killed someone!" I realise piecing together all the stuff the two dudettes have bought.
"Sh! They'll hear us!" My brother hissed.
"It's a bit late for that" a familiar voice spoke in turn making me shutter. Amy. I realised before turning.
"Dude she's gonna bury us! She's gonna hit us with her hammer then bury us alive!"
Tikal would giggle and Amy would look over to here before saying, "see? It's fun"
"It's not fun! Tikal come on I have a life I don't want to die!" I begin to beg and fall to my knees with hopefulness they don't use the stuff they have bought to get rid of my body.

Sonic's P.O.V

Amy would continue to smirk they were messing with us... I didn't know Amy was capable of that and I can't help but laugh. She's adorable with the way she's smirking. My brother was still panicking. Kneeling on the floor like some kinda servant. I gently pull his arm to get him up.
"They were messing with us." I explained before a rush of relief fell on his face.
"Maybe you'll think twice before stalking two girls," Amy tutted as she wagged her finger.
"What were you both doing anyways?..." Tikal asked.
Quietly me and my brother looked at each other. We couldn't just say it would have ruined the point of wanting to surprise Amy by allowing Manic to get something that means something to her. I need to think quickly. Then it hits me.

"Well Manic here, wanted to apologise and figure out the best way to make up for leaving you in the ball... So he has agreed to give you rings for any location of your choice." Proudly I smile and my brother's eyes widened.
"Really?!" Amy squealed before rushing over to Manic and hugging him tightly. I couldn't help but pout slightly. I thought of the idea. Why don't I get a hug? I guess she'd never know I thought of it...

Tikal's P.O.V

Quietly I watched the way Sonic looked as Amy hugged Manic. I don't think he realised but his ears are drooping... Could he... Does he... Like Amy?

I frown. If that's true. I'm worried... How will this time work out for the two hedgehogs? Amy's free from her feelings for Sonic... But it looks like the blue blur is only beginning to understand his...
