Day 14

I pick up my basket containing the chocolate chip cookies for Creamy. I know she'll be thrilled knowing she'll be able to enjoy tea and biscuits because of how big a sweet tooth she is. She always has been. She's been a sweet tooth for well... uhm... forever.

I open my door and as I close it behind me I notice another rose (pink this time) on my doorstep with a light pink label hanging from the thornless rose with a string. "Meet me at the bench we ate ice cream at a few days ago -from the only blue hedgie you know," I read out loud as I gently placed the rose into the basket.

I decide to go for the fact it wouldn't matter if I surprise cream with her cookies a little later than I planned.

When I finally arrive at the meeting place I sit down on the wooden bench kicking my legs back and forward as I waited patiently for sonic.

Suddenly I heard a voice come from behind me, "Hi Amy!"
I squeaked from surprise and quickly stood up facing the direction the voice came from to see the blue hedgehog smirking (obviously satisfied that he scared me.)

I watched as his arms went closer and around my neck my eyes widened as his face came closer to mine, I looked at him to see him a very concentrated look in his eyes I felt my heart stop not knowing what to do.
"Don't worry and... there we go..." he then stood straight once again, I was so confused... what just happened? I looked at my mom's necklace back around my neck.

"Oh my gosh!" I felt myself begin to smile and I hugged sonic tightly,"thank you! Thank you!" I smiled happily. I let go to see him smiling cockily, "I told you I'd find it didn't I?"
"Yes! And you did! You have no idea how thankful I am!"
"I think I may know..." he smiled gently.
"I won't forget this! Oh my gosh thank you! Thank you!" I smiled wider looking down at my mom's necklace then looking back up at sonic and I could tell he was just as happy as I was. We exchanged glances and I realised... Maybe I could learn to trust this guy...
