Klaus entered the dimly lit room where Milana was fast asleep while Hope was already awake sitting up. The man had spent his day with Aurora wanting to know what he plans was. He thought spending his day with Aurora would mean she wouldn't get anywhere near Milana. He will do anything to keep her out of Aurora's reach. He couldn't let her get hurt. While he believed that Milana would be able to deal with Aurora, he still feared.

The Mikaelson man smiled down at his daughter, and he picked her up. He made his way out of the room making sure not to wake Milana in the process. Klaus walked down the stairs towards the living area where Elijah was seated. He was a bit bloodied from the fight they had just a few moments ago. Klaus was not angry that Aurora, Tristan and Lucien were to be their duplicates, so Mikael would hunt them, he was angry that his brother had kept this secret from him. Everything that is happening now could have been easily avoided.

Now, his daughter and Milana may both be in danger.

He sat down on the couch across from Elijah with Hope in his arms. Hope was staring at her father with wide eyes. Her hand moved to his cheek and he chuckled. “Do not worry. This is just a little blood, you will get used to it.”

Freya, annoyed, rushed into the room, to see that Elijah was absentmindedly fiddling with what remained of his tie while drinking blood.

Freya looked unimpressed at the two, “May I ask what happened?”
Klaus smirked to himself, “We had a little chat about the past.”

Freya rolles her eyes in exasperation, and Elijah, sounding exhausted, explained what happened. “I informed Niklaus I am not his enemy. And, though they entered the city under the guise of peace, Tristan and Lucien, in truth, are allied against us. A fact that required a little bit of... gentle persuasion...”

Freya was visibly amused by this, but she kept her face blank in order to not encourage their behavior and turned to look at Klaus.

“And so I reminded our brother, who angered them in the first place...”

Freya sighed, annoyed, “And, after all of this civil discourse, what understanding did you come to?”

“That we expose and destroy our first sired,” Elijah told her.

Klaus smiled happily before picking up the glass of bourbon and drinking it. “Couldn't agree more. You see, gentlemen know when to call a truce and turn our fury in a more pertinent direction.”
