Freya helped Klaus up to his feet and he used her as support as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder. Milana and Mracel back Dahlia, who was standing upright as well and glaring at them. Klaus had pulled Milana to his side since he didn't know what Dahlia could do. What he did was a bit reckless but he hoped it had given them enough time to come up with a plan.

“I'm almost impressed by the lengths you'd go to for your little girl. Though, not enough to let bygones be,” Dahlia told Klaus. The woman held up her hand and used her telekinesis to rip the white oak stake from Freya's free hand so that it flew into her own. Klaus and Freya both looked alarmed for a moment, but Klaus tried to play it tough.

“We are still linked, dear aunt. You may not want to punish me with that particular weapon.”

“Hmmm. I made sure that the link between us melted along with that dagger. Meaning... I'm quite free to kill you!” she told Klaus, and she pointed the stake at Klaus and used her magic pull to him toward her, so she could stake him. Milama tried to grab Klaus but he slipped from her hands.

“AAAAGH!”

Marcel lunged forward and tackled Klaus to save both Klaus and all of their combined vampire progeny, Marcel included. When Dahlia disappeared Milana immediately ran toward Hope's room. She suddenly heard Hope crying upstairs in her nursery as she ran up with the men right behind her.

The vines and dahlia flowers were still growing inside the compound, and have managed to cover all the walls and ceiling of the nursery as well. As they grew, they wrap around Hope's cradle and moved out toward Hope, pricking her hand with one of its thorns and drawing blood, which made Hope cry even harder.

Milana made it to Hope's room first, and she was momentarily relieved to see that she was still there. Klaus wasted no time rushing over to her and picking her up in his arms to soothed her.

“Why didn't she take Hope?” Marcel questioned. “Because all she needed was a drop of her blood. Unfortunately, I have no idea where the vile harpy has fled to.”

“All right, go. Get Hope someplace safe. I'll track down your witch.”

Marcel gave Klaus a hard look. “And, when this is over, you and I are gonna settle up.”
