A few weeks had passed since Klaus and Milana's date. The two haven't been able to have any alone time after that because they had no one to take care of Hope. Neither of them cared since it meant they'd be able to spend more time with their daughter. While Elijah wasn't talking to either Klaus or Milana, Freya was out partying, enjoying her life for the first time in years and well, Hayley was doing whatever she was doing.

The Ramirez girl woke up just to be blinded by a bright light that was shining into the room. She turned her head before finally sitting up to see Hayley seated at the window with Hope in her arms. Milana looked around before smiling at the two of them.

She glanced out the window with a slight yawn. Tomorrow was the full moon, which meant it was the night Tracy would be turning back to her human form. Elijah was most likely going to try and convince Milana to let Tracy see Hope but she wasn't about to let that happen.

“Glad to see you're finally up.”

The Ramirez girl leaned back against the headboard. “Hey. How long have you been sitting there?” Milana asked, still a bit sleepy. “A while. Klaus told me not to wake you. It seems you two certainly had a rough night.”
The Marshall girl wiggled her brows.

“What could we have possibly done with Hope sleeping between us?” Milana asked, stretching her arms out.

Milana stood up from the bed, and she put on her robe. “Has she eaten, yet?” she asked the brunette. Hayley nodded, “Yes she has. Klaus already fed her.”

“Okay then.” She walkrd over to Hope and smiled down at the girl. “Hey baby girl.” She kissed the girl's forehead before leaving the room to go make herself some breakfast.

She left her room, and she walkex down the steps, but she stopped in her tracks when she saw Klaus staring at the painting of his brother. He was staring intently at it like it was going to give him an answer he had been seeking for a while now.

“Always and forever indeed,” Klaus muttered.

Milana bit her lip, and she walked down the steps looking at the man who was still staring at the painting. Klaus’ head turned to the side and he smiled at the woman.
“You left, again,” Milana said making it to the last step. Over these few weeks Klaus always left before either Hope or Milana woke up. The first few times she didn't mind it but after it happened consecutively, the girl had started to feel annoyed.
