Hayley entered the living area with an apple in hand. The woman was away for almost the whole day, and she didn't even tell them where she was. While it wasn't necessary that the woman told them about her whereabouts every time but she had just woken up from the dead, so it's only right that Milana at least knows that she's okay.
Hayley glanced over at the baby on the floor with Freya. She smiled at the girl before taking a seat beside Milana on the couch. "She's getting bigger by the second," Hayley spoke up just when Elijah entered the room. Milana and Elijah still weren't on good terms, but they didn't ignore or avoid each other like he and Klaus. But she wasn't going to say it isn't awkward because it definitely was.
"Hey, Elijah," Hayley greeted the man after taking a bite out of her apple.
"Hayley. Milana," he greetsled and Milana just nodded her head. Elijah glanced down at Hope with a small smile. "Tomorrow's the full moon. If you need any help just tell me, okay?" Freya said to her brother.
"Won't be necessary. You deserve a night off," Elijah said crouching down to Hope's side.
"I'd offer to accompany you myself, but I fear my fragile ego could not endure the litany of insults Tracy has no doubt prepared," Klaus joked walking into the room. Milana rolled her eyes, knowing that they'll start to fight again, and she wasn't in the mood for it.
"Yes, I doubt that your presence is particularly welcome anywhere," Elijah said, standing up. "My own brother greeting me with such disdain," Klaus said with a sly smirk.
"What do you think, Freya? Is he still angry for my part in the crescent wolf pack's curse?" Klaus asked his older sister.
Hayley looked between them, and she chuckled, "I'm pretty sure he is."
"Need I remind him it was my ploy that kept her alive. . ." Klaus said ignoring Hayley.
"But of course. Forgive me. So you would call this an act of heroism, even as you bask in her torment?" Elijah said to his brother before walking off. "Perhaps I'd be more sympathetic if Tracy apologized to Milana. After all, it was her that tried to run off with our daughter," Klaus gestured to the Ramirez woman.
Milana decided she has had enough and stoof up. "Would you two put a sock in it. Do your bickering elsewhere where there isn't a baby in the room," she snapped at the two brothers.
