The day Father Kieran died had to have been the saddest day for the  community of the French Quarter. Everyone mourned father Kieran. The man was respected and loved by everyone in the community. Milana had only met the man a few times and in that few times he showed her utter kindness. He didn't deserve to die like that. She had heard that the man died the same way his nephew had died which must have been hard on Cami.

Milana stared at Klaus who continued to sulk and drink at his table when he glanced over at Marcel. She had not really talked to Klaus since she had returned from the Bayou but even the times she were in the compound Klaus had been taking care of Cami. The woman needed his support more than ever. Milana had felt uneasy but she pushed her jealousy to the back. Cami needed someone and that someone was Klaus.

Marcel grabbed a bottle of scotch and made a toast to the entire party inside the bar, “I know I haven't been around these parts lately. It's a testament to Father Kieran that we could come together and share a drink, and a story or two. Kieran rolled into town on a rusty old cruiser after his daddy died twenty-five years ago. And damnit, that guy could party!” Marcel said as he and the audience laughed

“That was, of course, before he took his vows. But, even then, he was committed to the Quarter. He knew that this town needed him. And, we still do. . .” he raised his glass.
“To Father K!”

“To Father K.”
The party drank in his honour and went back to their festivities.
Milana glanced around to see Tracy finally walking into the bar. She smiled and picking up the glass of lemonade.

“You're late,” Milana said, walking over to the girl. Tracy hummed while her gaze moved to someone across the bar. “Hey, do you know Francesca Correa?” Tracy asked Milana and the girl shook her head.

“You're the one who's apart of the Faction. Shouldn't you know her?” Milana asked her friend. She wasn't very familiar with the residence in the French Quarter.

“Yeah.”

Milana grabbed onto Tracy's hand and the two ladies joined Klaus and Elijah at their table. The two sat down between the two brothers. “I will warn you, Milana, Niklaus is in a spectacularly foul mood today,” Elijah told the brunette who sat beside Klaus. “Sod off,” Klaus mumbled in a drunken state.
