A week had passed since Hayley had shown up in the courtyard very much alive and very much naked. Milana had been so surprised by it that she had screamed,alerting everyone in the house. Klaus and Rebekah was at her side in just a few seconds and they were just as surprised to find the Marshall girl in front of them. While the woman looked and talked like Hayley, her mannerisms were quite off according to Klaus.
He had been convinced that it was someone pretending to be Hayley. Milana couldn't comment since she had only know the woman for four hours. She had stayed in the compound with watchful eyes on her to make sure this was not a trick that was being played on them.
They even took precautions in letting Freya do a spell to ensure that Hayley was very much real and not an illusion. The blonde witch were helping them find out how Hayley was alive after she died almost a year and a half ago. The Marshall woman only told them that she had been jerked awake near the stream just outside the Quarter. She had walked all the way to the plantation house since that was where she originally thought they would be but she was able to make her way to the compound.
Klaus did not believe the woman at all. He had the theory that it had something to do with Dahlia but no one had been able confirm or deny that theory yet. The man didn't want Hayley near Hope afraid she would do his daughter harm but after seeing how responsive and happy Hope seemed when Hayley was near, he allowed the woman to spend time with the girl but only if Milana his sisters or he was present.
Milana sighed, running her hand through her hair. She was happy the woman was alive but deep down she had this fear that Hayley might take Hope away from her. She was of course Hope's biological mother, and she had every right to take her but Milana knew that she wouldn't be able to live if Hope was taken away from her. She would fight for that little girl.
Klaus turned his head toward the girl to see the tiredness in her eyes. “Love, are you alright?” he asked, and she lookdd over at him. “Just a bit tired.”
The man raised a brow. “You cannot be tired now. We still have our date planned later tonight, do you not remember?” Klaus reminded her and a smile formed on her lips. Klaus had been trying to keep her spirits up by taking her out, just the two of them and maybe Hope would sometimes tag along.
“I won't be tired tonight, don't worry. But you didn't tell me where you'll be taking me,” she said and the man smirked. “It is a secret, little wolf.”
